In January 2017 BLACK ROSE ANTIQUE MALL opened in the Phillipsburg Mall having shut down their Allentown at SOUTH MALL. The space occupies a former JC Penney and is very large on one floor. The interior walls and lighting were left in place. This provides for some wonderful display areas (including the jewelry cases). Great variety of items including furninture, collectibles and antiques. Truly something for everyone. Familiar staff from Allentown makes for an enjoyable trip. Active Mall with Sears, BonTon and Kohl's as other anchor stores allows for an extended stay. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area. Very easy to get to from Lehigh Valley See more..

While traveling around our county we stopped at this antique store I saw while taking one of my motorcycle rides (during warmer weather). This out of the way store is just a mile from a quaint single lane bridge across the Delaware River (nice place for photos). The physical address (Finesvill) is not the location of the mailing address. Google it first. Mostly large items in a very old building. Only a few room heated, I would doubt if those rooms have air. Good prices and a variety of items. Some hand made items available. Restroom, coffee and water available. Just down the road is an old deserted factory, if your in to that. It's fenced but right next to a river. Neat photo area on that Route. The one lane bridge is a rarity, and on the PA side, Rt 611 north, you can see a few Locks from the old canal days. There is a pedestrian bridge, up that way, across the Delaware River. See more..
  4. 4.0 Delaware River Railroad Excursions (277 reviews)
    - Train ride along the Delaware River
    Scenic Railroads

I understand some negative reviews. The ride is pleasant but not spectacular. The station and area around the station aren't well maintained. The train is run by one paid employee and the rest of the crew are all volunteers who are well versed in the train and area. Some windows were blotched so you do need to find a seat where the view is unobstructed. I'd skip the extra "mine" tour. Others complained about the "wine" tour. The ride is about 90 minutes. The view of the Delaware river is very nice. Folks seemed to really enjoy the "Polar Express" ride with characters including Mr and Mrs Claus. We took the Halloween ride. I believe each ride is basically the same. The ride is about 90 minutes round trip. See more..
  5. 4.0 Warren County Winery Train (1 review)
    - TAKE A STEP BACK IN TIME ON A SCENIC TRAIN RIDE
    Rail Tours
    Warren County Winery Train image
We took this train to the Milagros Winery. They also have pumpkin picking and corn maze stops as well as Easter Bunny and the Polar Express for Christmas. Definitely something fun to do with the little ones (not the winery tour). There is a narrator on the train car who points out interesting sites along the Delaware River. You then exit the train and take a school bus to the winery. Back on the bus where you get the option to get off and have a picnic which we did, or go straight back to train station. After our picnic, we got back on the train to our car. There is also an adorable antique shop at the train station. The winery we visited was very beautiful and interesting. We sampled their wines which were paired with snacks. All in all was a very fun day! See more..
