- 5.0 Pendleton Hat Company (1 review)
-Fantastic Hat Store with an amazing selection
Speciality & Gift Shops
I love hats - everywhere I go I love to shop for hats - finding a great hat is another matter. While visiting Pendleton, we stopped by the store and I was looking at the hats and selected a few to try on, none of which suited my face. Perk looked around the store, selected a hat and it fit me perfectly. The selection is extensive with a great size range. As we were packing for our next destination, I realized that I was not going to be able to fit the hat in my carry on luggage and was already wearing a hat that I had brought with me. We brought the hat back to the store and Perk carefully wrapped it up and mailed it to me - excellent service. See more..
- 5.0 Staplemans Boots & Leather (1 review)
-The most comfortable boots you will ever wear
Speciality & Gift Shops
While visiting Pendleton, we made a point at stopping at Staplemans boots, only to get a taste of the local culture and watch them make cowboy boots - never intending to buy any boots. After all, Pendleton is the home of the Round Up so we were interested in learning all we could about rodeo culture. After fifteen minutes in the store, I made the executive decision to purchase a pair of custom made cowboy boots - my feet were carefully measured and with their assistance designed my boots. I really had no idea what I wanted (not too many cowboys in New York City) but they were very helpful in providing me with all the options available. I have had my boots for about one month and much too my surprise, wear them all the time - they are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned and am now saving to order a second pair of boots. Custom made boots are an investment, but being able to walk miles comfortably make them worth every penny and they look great. So many people have stopped me to ask where I purchased my boots. Richard is not only an excellent boot maker, but also a true gentleman. If in Pendleton, stop by, you will not be disappointed. See more..

-Amazing Western Store
Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops
We aren't big into western wear, but from the outside looking in, this store looked like a fun place to look around. As we walked in we were impressed with the beauty of this historical building. As we wandered through, one of the employees gave us a history of the building and the family that started the business. We walked around enjoying the architecture, the tin ceilings, massive decorative hanging lights, larger than life size bronze sculptures, and the beautiful saddles that are still made here. Well worth a stop just to look around. See more..

- 3.5 Pendleton Country Club (2 reviews)
-Great place to play!
Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Not many people on the course, mostly senior groups. My cart worked fine, but was definitely older. Now the course was in good condition. The greens were lightning fast, and in mostly good condition. These were probably the 2nd fastest greens I've ever played on and they had some pins in some very tough spots to putt close to. I came down to play Wildhorse, but it was too busy and I would have to wait an hour. I played my round here in a little over 3 hrs. The people that own Wildhorse own this place also now. It will be interesting to see what they do with it. It has plenty of potential. Hopefully, new carts are high on the list, they keep those rocket fast greens. Additionally, the greens were not too firm. They would slow the ball the down, but it took a well placed shot to hold it on the green. The clubhouse is big. Looks like it came out of the 60s and was probably a booming place back in the day. See more..
