Love the Mai Tais. A great place for the old style Chinese food. Forget about the new style like PF Changs or other asian-fusion. It is cooked fresh and so good. Such a beautiful and wonderful shop! Old mills in Peabody are the new home of many great shops. Spiritus Arcarnum is located on the third floor, accessible by stairs or elevator. The shop is welcoming, drawing you in to its magikal atmosphere. We marveled at some of the many items not found in many other shops. The proprietor was friendly, informative, and happy to assist us in finding just the right treasures. We traveled back to Nebraska with our new witch candle, hag stone, rabbit shears, and iron nails. Our witch candle caused us an additional screening at the TSA checkpoint at the airport! It is actually fun to show off our witchy items I highly recommend anyone interested in the magickal arts to pay a visit to Spiritus Arcarnum! See more..

Brooksby has pick your own fruits which vary by season. Blueberries will be next and blackberries. You can purchase already picked fruit and veggies in the shop as well as pies, cider and local honey, jam etc There are animals to feed and pet for the kids. They have a festival with hay rides etc The fall is the best time to come pick a pumpkin from the patch, have some cider and fresh warm cider donuts. Just took the dog for a walk down the Independence Greenway Rail Trail today--it's really convenient and takes you through a more peaceful part of town. I'm glad the city of Peabody invested so much into this trail. Definitely surprised there weren't more families out today riding their bikes! I just hope that the city extends the trail to cross under I-95/rt-1 so users don't have to get onto Lowell Rd. anymore. See more..

We use the Logan Express from Peabody. It has proven to be a reliable and convenient transportation service from Peabody's Northshore Mall to Logan Airport. The service operates one bus every hour, and they are very good abvout keeping to schedule, depending on the sometimes unpredictable Rt1 in and out of Boston. Waiting for a return bus at Logan can be a bit aggravating, since there are Logan Express buses from other destinations, and when they appear, your hopes are raised that it is your bus. But dusappointment is often the result. They are usually right on time, however. So one does not need to hover - relax in the terminal until the arrival time nears. We stopped at Chandlers Homemade Ice Cream on our way hoe from a visit to Salem. The staff was very friendly the ice cream was delicious, many flavor choices and very generous portions. We went on a warm July Sunday afternoon. It was very quiet inside. Great family spot for bowling, billiards, and arcade games.They recently renovated and put in a full restaurant and bar. We didn't eat this visit but noticed that they do have a great menu.Bowling rates are reasonable. We bowled and will return to bowl and eat in the restaurant. Great spot for a family gathering.
