We stopped by this microbrewery today and sampled eight of their beers between us. Great variety of styles, and all were good or better. We were given a personal tour of the 55+ pinball (or like) machines - old and new - and some of the back-stories on artwork and the history of notable machines. Then we played a variety of PB machines, and other video games. It was a great experience. Highly recommend a visit and experience. And the $10 price to play all we wanted was awesome! A key site within Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park, Slater Mill is the first industrial building in America and a visitor contact station for the National Park. The grounds are open 24 hours/day. See our website for visitor tour and special event information. In 1793 the firm of Almy, Brown and Slater replaced their experimental workshop with a new mill. Known as the Slater Mill, it was the first water powered textile mill in America. The original mill was six windows wide and two and ½ stories tall. Wanted to try the Guild and finally got there late on a Saturday night. Loved the feel of the place. They had indoor corn hole and there were a lot of people there. We found a spot at the bar and had a couple of beers before the 11 close time. Bruce, our server, was awesome. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. After a couple of questions and tasters, I settled on the Handline Kolsch. Crisp, flavorful, and cold. Great tasting beer and I ended up having two of them. My son and the white IPA which he enjoyed. They do play the same bachata sings kinda does get old but i love coming here because its nice and easy going you dont have to really chase down the bartenders they got really good shrimp meat pies give it a try while you play some pool relaxed.
