  4. 5.0 Table Wine (5 reviews)
    - Totally worth a visit!
    Speciality & Gift Shops
    Table Wine image
Table Wine will always have a gold star on my map. Courtney and Katie have created an awesome and safe place to hangout and learn about wine. They are both passionate and knowledgeable about the products they sell. Most importantly, the environment is always relaxed and non-pretentious. I stumbled in here after a hike on a first date a few years ago and continue to come back. They do $1 tastings, sometimes host local wine makers, and will usually have a bunch of wines from a specific region or country grouped in a tasting; essentially, each tasting can be as much of a history and learning opportunity as you choose. There’s also beer and other beverages available. The record player is always on and this shop really is the best part of Linda Mar. See more..

    - My "GO-TO" Shop for Gorgeous Gifts
    Friday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops • Paint & Pottery Studios
    Yonder Shop and Studio image
This shop has always offered me great gifts and has now completed my stunning "every day" dish and coffee cup collection as well. I go to Yonder when I want to find a gift for ANYONE. There are so many choices for men, women, hostess gifts, clothing, jewelry, candles, books, paintings, ceramics, etc. Prices span from low to high. This place could be easily in San Francisco or Beverly Hills, but it's here in the beach town of Pacifica. It's next to a coffee shop, so pick up a cup, cross the street and walk the gorgeous nature walk to the ocean. Enjoy your visit - I always do! See more..

Patricia the owner of Healing Spaces Massage is wonderful and caring. She is at Rockaway Beach, two doors from The Grape in the Fog wine bar. Devil's Slide Trail image
I really enjoyed this walk with a friend. We were in the area and I thought it would be pleasant to walk the old piece of highway without being spectacular. Actually there is something quite spectacular about it. It’s evocative and a little bit eerie. Best of all was bumping into Eric the docent right at the beginning. He’s a treasure. A font of information and mischievous with it. Thanks Eric for making our day. See more..

Small beach, with stunning views, popular with surfers. Plenty of room to walk, check out rocks, and just size and gaze at the surf. Parking is close, and there are plenty of restaurants and gas close by. See more..
  13. 4.5 Mori Point (55 reviews)
    - Great place to hike with great views
Spent 1-2 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Hiking Trails
    Mori Point image
This is a great place to hike and to enjoy the great views of the Pacifica coastline. There are trails that hug the coastline and trails that climb up to the hilltop for panoramic views. All trails are fully exposed to the sun, but with the cool coastal climate at Pacifica, a jacket would be advisable in the morning even in summer. As the coastline faces west, the lighting is better for a visit in the afternoon (and it is also warmer) if you can find parking. There are plenty of parking but with the hordes of visitors on the weekend, the parking spaces closer to Mori Point fill up fast. See more..

  15. 4.5 Sweeney Ridge Trail (28 reviews)
    - See where Portola discovered San Francisco Bay in 1769, 80 years before the gold rush!
Friday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM Hiking Trails
    Sweeney Ridge Trail image
This is a great place for a two hour hike, where from a single vantage point, you can see so many important features: San Francisco bay, the Pacific coast, the Farallon islands (on a clear day), San Andreas Lake, Mount Diablo, San Pedro Rock (near Devils Slide), and some of man’s imprints on the landscape (SFO airport, San Francisco county jail #5, Nike Missile site SF-51 to name but three). You start in Lot B in Skyline College (weekends and Holidays parking permitted), and follow the Notch Trail to the Sweeney Ridge Trail. It’s quite a strenuous up and down hike, but the views are incredible. Along the way you’ll see remnants of the Nike Missile defense system (decorated with graffiti), and the site where Portola’s expedition discovered San Francisco bay. He must have been following the coast not to have seen it earlier on his trek. See more..

Came here from England to see punk band The Vibrators. Small gaff, but good selection of beers and perfect for the gig we attended. Sound was good, friendly locals and easily reached by taxi. The locals certainly enjoyed the band and as it was my birthday I got a rousing chorus from everyone! Packed in there too. We did 6 gigs in all - this bar was the stand out venue... See more..
  18. 4.5 Milagra Ridge (11 reviews)
    - A gem not intended to be disturbed.
    Spent 1-2 hours National Parks
    Milagra Ridge image
As one of the national recreation areas, Milagra Ridge has history tracing back to thousands year ago as habitat of natives. Then there came the Spaniards to farm artichokes. The location was so strategic that US military deployed guns and nuclear ready missiles from WWII to the end of Cold War. Today, this is a small patch of refuge for several endangered specifies surrounded by urban developments. When I learned what a treasured land this is, I feel privileged living close to it and fortunate enough to run on the trails when weather is great. You can see the Farallan Islands, sprouting whales along the shore of Pacifica, passing cruise ships, and white sails. Enjoy and maintain. See more..

  20. 4.5 Frontierland Park (6 reviews)
    - Great fun unless you lose sight of your kids
Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds
    Frontierland Park image
We came here with a few kids as a family outing. The first challenge was parking as it's really limited close by or quite a lot, but a reasonable walk to get to the park. The place is clean and there are lots of things for the kids to do. We also flew a kite in the field nearby and took a walk up the stairs to a dead end. It was great fun playing here until our seven year old took off into the playground without us noticing and we couldn't find him. Once the search was over more fun was had once the heart settled down. See more..

  22. 4.0 Pacifica Municipal Pier (59 reviews)
    - So much marine activity
Spent 1-2 hours Piers & Boardwalks
    Pacifica Municipal Pier image
My boyfriend and I happened to be by the pier so we stopped and walked down to take a look- we were absolutely astonished by the amount of marine activity that is visible. We saw multiple large whales surfacing, dozens of dolphins and sand sharks being caught on the pier. We did not watch the ocean for more than 3 minutes at a time without substantial activity less than 100 yards away. It was absolutely incredible and is officially my favorite new spot to watch marine life. Don’t rent a boat when you can go to the pier. (Full disclosure- I do not know if this is typical for this time of year specifically or if this activity is present year round, but California Parks Rep is very present and available at pier for questions pertaining to marine life.) 25. 3.5 Sharp Park Golf Course (3 reviews)
    - Golf trip with brother and friends
Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Sharp Park Golf! What a great local course that is reasonably priced and fun to play. The front nine has wide long fairways that are very forgiving. Half way through the front you find yourself playing a par 5 dog leg right fun hole if you stay to the left of the fairway! The eighth hole is very short but that doesn’t mean your score is low The tenth hole returns you back to the club house so you can grab lunch make sure you call your order in on the start of the 8th so the food will be ready. The 11th hole is a long straight par 5 so load up and swing away. Hole 12 and 14 should be the only holes were you have watch out for water. The The remainder of the course are wide-open nice views lots of opportunities to use your Driver and fairway woods. If it is warm around the bay area this is a place you want to play as you have nice cool breezes and not too hot. Enjoy, Shawn See more..
