Kevin guided my wife and I for a couple of days of fly fishing at Bradford Camps in the northern Maine woods. The fishing was great and Kevin is personable, knowledgable, fun to be with, and a good coach for improving your casting. We had a great time and highly recommend him. A couple of the togue we caught were prepared by the camp cook and were terrific. See more..

We held my sons' 30th birthday party here and invited 50 of his closest friends, including small children. We rented it for 4 hours and we were able to bring in food, mostly salads, dips and salsas and a cake.. There was hot food advailable too, pizza, chicken fingers and fries. The beers and sodas were very reasonable. Everyone were given bolwling shoes (including the children) and you could bowl as long as you wanted. No one was rushed and there was room for the kids to run around without upsetting anyone because we knew everyone. My son had raffles and was able to use their speaker system to make announcements. At the end of the night, no one wanted to leave. This place has been here a long time and it is not fancy but it is clean and the owner and staff were very pleasant and great to work with. It reminded me of the bowling alley I used to go to when I was younger. See more..

    Speciality Museums

I am traveling to learn a little more about my grandfather. He was proud to be Penobscot but didn’t share a lot about his heritage. This museum was a wonderful way to learn just a little more about where he came from. The curator took me in an showed me some of the amazing baskets and canoes. She told me a little about the history and details about the different tribes. I am so glad I took the time to stop. She also suggested a few other museums, which I went to as well. Could not have asked for a better experience. See more..
