Fabulous little gallery
Stopped in at this fabulous little gallery while on a quick trip to Ocean Shores. The gentleman working, Howard, was wonderful! He gave us info on the artists with work currently on display and also, tips on great places to eat. Bought a cute little tile with a fall theme. Will definitely be back. If your visiting Ocean Shores, you need to check this fabulous little gallery!! See more..

Tea also appears to have antimicrobial qualities. - 5.0 The Grand Canal (4 reviews)
Beautiful Duck Lake
Spent 1-2 hours Bodies of Water • Parks
We were surprised how long this lake is...it just goes and goes connected by many canals. We found folks fishing from docks and launching boats. See more..
- 5.0 Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area (2 reviews)
A Lovely Experience
Spent 1-2 hours Beaches • Nature & Wildlife Areas • Hiking Trails
• This wildlife preserve is designated as an official Washington State Birding Trail by the Audubon Society. • No trails actually lead into the 682 acres of wetlands, however, so you'll have to look from afar. • The area is one of five locations in the state where snowy plovers and migratory birds such as great blue herons, brown pelicans, and pheasants still nest. • Snowy owls are also common in the middle of winter. • On clear days, you can also take in views of giant Mount Rainier, which looms in the distance to the southeast. • Bald eagles and harbor seals call Damon Point Home. - 4.5 North Jetty (454 reviews)
Fun at the beach
Always a great place to be but keep an eye on the kids. You can build a small beach fire away from the grassy area with driftwood but take your own wood anyway and some fire starter. Carefully climb up on the riprap and watch big freighters going through the channel and (sometimes) huge waves breaking on the jetty rocks. Sometimes you'll see a seal also, and plenty of gulls - no bouys though. We were there on a winter day with a cold wind howling and a little drizzle so we didn't stay long - just picked up some small pieces of driftwood to take home. It's better in the summer, but anytime is worth the visit. Also great after a big storm as all sorts of stuff floats up on the beach. See more..

- 4.5 Damon Point (232 reviews)
Great agate finds
If you dont mind the trek through the sand, you can find lots of nice agates. I went with my mom, warned her that I heard it was quite a trek to get to where I wanted to go. She said she was up for it. I did have to cut the trip shorter than planned and we did turn back a bit early, mom couldnt hang. Its not a bad walk really. But the sand can be tiring for some. There are grassy places to walk, but I was there to look for agates and other treasures that washed up. I would love to go back and spend time there with the family in the summer, or go solo and walk the area at low tide. See more..
- 4.5 Elk Head Brewery (30 reviews)
Fun place for a drink
Ditch the kid/s for an hour or so to enjoy a beverage here with the locals. The beers (made at Elk Head's other facility in Buckley) are interesting and tasty, there's wine for the non-beer drinker and generous scoops of warm mixed nuts for a perfect accompaniment. Great service, too. Highly recommend. See more..
- 4.5 Griffiths-Priday Ocean State Park (17 reviews)
A Hidden Gem
This is probably the most beautiful beach I’ve been to. It has sand on every trail. Deer just walking along the trails. The scenery is UNREAL with a beautiful river running through the middle. There is a big bridge that takes you over the river into the sand dunes and tall grass before being let out in the wide open ocean. Wow, it is so incredible. My kids wanted to go back a 2nd day and we did, because we wanted to go again, too! See more..

- 4.5 Ocean Pours Tap Room (13 reviews)
Delicious beer in a lovely space at an Ocean Shores taproom
Saturday: 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Bars & Clubs
We liked this taproom so much, we came three times during our 36 hour holiday to Ocean Hours . The service, delicious beer (with a wide selection), space inside and out (heated toilet seats!), and fellowship we found here was delightful. On Saturday evening, our dog Nari had a blast running around outside on the grassy area with several other well-behaved local dogs while we chatted with their human guardians. We haven't seen her have as much fun with other dogs since we adopted her in March, so it was a magical time indeed. Our two Sunday visits were more subdued for all of us while we sat inside the tent, protected from the breeze, but there were still dogs to be met and connections to be made. Until next time ... cheers! See more..

- 4.0 Shores Bowl (32 reviews)
Fun outing, friendly staff.
Saturday: 12:00 PM - 1:00 AM Spent 2-3 hours Bowling Alleys
We really enjoyed our visit to Shores Bowl. They were patient and helpful with our autistic granddaughter. The machines worked well for scoring, there was food and drink available, pool tables, etc. The doors were open for airflow, which made it safer for less chance of Covid exposure. As for "mask wearing"...the owner/staff member at the desk was wearing a mask...other than that, not very many people had masks on. See more..
- 4.0 Affordable Mopeds (27 reviews)
Great owners and staff!
What a great place! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The guy who got us on the road with the mopeds was thorough and patient, a natural teacher. They have everything you need to hit the road, helmets, gloves and glasses, as well as the education, and all included in the cost of the rental. My gloves were brand new and I had to remove the packaging. The owner even gave us tips on riding the bikes on the beach. We will definitely go back! Thanks for a fun afternoon! See more..

- 4.0 Ocean Shores Golf Course (20 reviews)
Friendly staff and very welcoming. The driving range is irons only. First nine is definitely better than the back nine. Back nine really just needs to be regraded completely. However, it's definitely preferable to low income housing which has been proposed. Despite the bumpy fairways on the back nine, we still enjoyed our time. See more..
- 4.0 Weatherwax Trail (16 reviews)
Easy nature walk
Spent 1-2 hours Hiking Trails
This is a short easy walk thru a wetland forest. There is very little elevation gain and the trail was very well maintained. There was a group of deer at the trailhead that came right up to you. They were looking for a handout I suspect, but we didn't give them one. See more..

- 3.5 Quinault Beach Casino (497 reviews)
One of the better hotels on the WA coast
Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Well appointed with plenty of room for a couples get-a-way. The only part we didn't like was the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby and check-in area. Not bad if you stay in your room but after one weekend everything we had smelled like smoke. See more..
- 3.5 Murphy's Homemade Ice Cream & Fudge (71 reviews)
Pricey but good
Speciality & Gift Shops
We had ice cream here after dinner. The waffle cones were done of the best we've tasted. The ice cream was really good too with many choices. The servings and cones were quite large and a bit expensive but we indulged. $14 for 2 cones . Can't imagine what a family's bill would be. But there is always McDonald's. See more..
- 3.5 Honey Pearl Ranch (21 reviews)
Worth Every Penny...
Spent < 1 hour Equestrian Trails
This attraction was made for your young daughter. Horseback riding right on the shore. Very gentle and docile horses made for a lifetime memory for my young gals. Rides are an hour long for 20 bucks and--think about it--you could blow that much with three go-cart rides in less than 20 minutes. All the wranglers are proficient, alert, and very safety conscious. We're in day three of our Spring Break, and I'm sure that we will cave in to our little gals, and they will be on those horses tomorrow. And the day after... :) See more..
- 3.5 Creative Light Gallery (3 reviews)
Creative Light Gallery is Still In Business
My son, his girlfriend and I were just there mid-July and both he and his girlfriend who are in their early thirties said it was very cool and unique. I am in my late fifties feel the same. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The art is local and not the standard so if you like art and eclectic art and craft, make a visit. If you have a challenge finding it, call the number. This gallery is still in business. See more..
