Northside Park is located on 125th Street and the Bay. It is Ocean City's largest and most popular park and home to the Recreation and Parks Department administrative offices. This 58-acre complex boasts three lighted softball/baseball fields, a lighted soccer field, multipurpose field, a foot bridge, mini-borrowing library, concession stands, accessible playground, picnic shelter, two piers, over 1 mile of walking/jogging paths and a state of the art outdoor exercise area. Indoor facilities include a Community Center with 14,200 square foot gymnasium, kitchen, community room, conference room, patio, sitting areas and a Sports Center annex with a 21,000 square foot multi-use arena. Be sure to check out Fisher's popcorn in Thrasher's french fries, both Ocean City traditions. The Kite Loft is also a popular place. there is also sand sculptures in the summertime display in Jesus and other religious figures that are worth checking out. Street performers perform in the summer months. There's a pier beoynd the rides that provides a place to fish and view the ocean. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the amusement parks, they're to expensive and the rides aren't that great. See more..

There were interesting decorations, an under the sea theme for the indoor and outdoor was fun too. The a/c was kicking, people wore masks while adhering to social distance. The people/staff were friendly. The bathrooms were clean. Several moving objects, not too difficult and virtually guaranteed a hole in one. We had several hole in ones. We also played the 23rd street and 28th in addition to this one. We plan to come back soon and hit the one on 126ish. We bought the pass, so for 20 dollars a person you can play all day as many times as you like all courses and locations. Great deal!! See more..

The Oceanic Fishing Pier is a wonderful little pier - well run and reasonably priced, with excellent fishing opportunities if you time the tides correctly (tides run very strong here at the inlet). Have visited several times with my teenager and had a blast. During our most recent visit in late May, we caught a ton of shad (white and yellow "speck" rigs work great!), some bluefish (kept two and grilled them for a nice dinner!), and even a little flounder. Please be aware that many of the photos and reviews here on Trip Advisor are for the "Ocean City" or "OC" Fishing Pier on Atlantic Avenue, which is connected to the boardwalk and extends out into the Atlantic Ocean. The "Oceanic" Fishing Pier on Philadelphia Avenue is the one that extends into the inlet and is across from Assateague Island. See more..

Although I have been vacationing in Ocean City for many years, this is still the first place I stop before checking in to my hotel. Rest rooms are very clean but my main reason for stopping is for the tremendous amount of information, brochures and coupons they have to offer. You can find coupons for everything Ocean City has to offer: restaurants, amusement parks, water sports, boardwalk activities, etc. Staff members are very pleasant and anxious to answer questions and provide information. If you want to save a little money while in OC, this is the place to go for coupons. Also, a little gem is the Sunny Days guide you can pick up here as well. These are essentially 3 eggs, some varied rib bones by height and a head. However, it kept a 10 and 6 year old busy for 30 minutes. They were on there scooters, went to play, and returned to scooters. They play in sand, talked to other kids and climbed. It's not amazing like amusement parks but any age can participate and any landing if they jump is soft. It is fantastic for allowing creative, turned off play. And that it's free. Can't beat it.
