Dave "the dude" aka "shadow" was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made our experience extra special and was able to put us on all the hot spots so we could see the best spots and get the best photos. He was willing to answer questions and make the experience extra personal to fit our needs. The packed lunch was great and he came prepared with tons of drinks and snacks ! More than enough to hold us through the day. He was very adaptable to what we wanted to do and had great covid protocols. He also had 3 pairs of GREAT binoculars so we could see up close, the bus had AC and was super comfortable! Highly recommend this tour and this specific guide for any yosemite tour needs!!! June 12 2021 We booked a private tour for two with Pat (and his assistant Ethan) which was a fantastic decision and worth every cent!!!! Pat was informative, witty, personable, and personal and we knew right away it was going to be a monumental tour because of the advanced knowledge Pat offers!!! Following in our own vehicle while still being able to communicate over walkie talkies gave us the ability to ask questions while still having ‘our time’. Since the park is reservation system only right now, it wasn’t crazy busy and it was easy to get in and out of all the siteseeing stops. With having a guide who knew exactly where to go and just as important ‘when’ to go to get the best pictures was amazing!!!! This is in contention for the best movie theater I’ve been to. You can get a day pass for $15 a month or an unlimited movie pass for $20 a month. The concessions are more than reasonable and they have a very wide selection of beer and wine. The movie selection is comparable to bigger theatres. They even have virtual reality now! Such a fun and relaxing experience for both myself and my dog. I was hesitant to take my now 1-year-old dog to a wine bar but because we've both been cooped up pretty much since she was a pup, thought it was time. I met a friend who goes often with her dog but I was hesitant because she hasn't been around people much. To be honest she wasn't a huge fan of my friend's dog but Colette the owner was amazing and it didn't phase her at all. By closing time, she was eating cookies from her hand (which she normally won't do from strangers). It was a Sunday so it wasn't too busy - something someone may want to consider is the timing if your dog isn't very social. Whether you're local or from out of town, it's the perfect destination for pet lovers. Not only is it dog friendly but they have treats, decor, and fun pet-related gifts. It was so refreshing to get out to have a delicious wine flight and socialize. I'm looking forward to going to Wine Tails again more often. See more..

Our day started out with Jenée from Crossroads picking us up from our hotel in Oakhurst. As we were traveling to the park, Jenée outline the places that we were going visit within the park. The weather that day was not very favorable, so there were a couple of areas we were not able to visit because of the roads being closed. The areas that she did take us to see were amazing! I've been looking for a way to incorporate one of my favorite commercial lines on TV and have found it. We chose to take this route, driving from Napa, CA to Yosemite. Let's face it. This was our first outing from self imposed "hunkering down" at home due to the pandemic. It was our anniversary and we needed to get out and enjoy something after all these months. After considerable thought, we decided to drive our car back to Yosemite, but take this scenic route. Turns out, decades ago we took this exact route on our first trip to Yosemite. We didn't realize it until we started recognizing all the views, terrain, and winding road. Still, it was refreshing and we were in no hurry anyway. It's well worth the route and just realize you need to just settle back, enjoy the scenery and the drive. Plan on stopping along the way and taking some photos as well.
