    Throwback Brewery image
Wow! What a great evening. Beer is incredible, I started with a pint of Hog Happy Hefeweizen (German wheat beer) then went on to a tasting board of 4 other beers that were all excellent. (Followed by another pint of hog happy)! My wife really enjoyed the rose and finished with a lavender bee cocktail (delicious apparently). The food: another wow! I gather from my wife that the fish tacos were very fresh and delicious. I had the Korean chicken wings which were the best wings I have ever had!!!! A generous portion but I was still gutted when it ended . Great service, our server Mitch was excellent throughout. Thoroughly recommended. Please try the wings, you won’t regret it. See more..

I needed a great cheese board that would stand up to scrutiny at a family event. Everyone loved it, so now I know what to bring next time. Pretty reasonably priced too . Much better than bringing a fancy bottle of wine that doesn’t get opened. See more..

If the parking situation were different, I would rate this a "5." But it's tough to find a spot. Too bad, although I'm sure residents think otherwise. See more..
  9. 4.5 Sea Hagg Distillery (3 reviews)
    - Tour and rum tasting
    Spent < 1 hour Distilleries
We heard about the Sea Hagg Distillery from a program on Boston TV called "Chronicle" and since we were in the Hampton, NH area for a family reunion decided to stop in for a tour and tasting. The distillery is located in a non descript strip of offices down back on the left hand side of the building. There is a small sign out front that may be missed so watch for the Acura dealer. Heather, Ron, large poodle and baby are friendly and welcoming. The tour doesn't take long and fun for adults. We did the rum tasting and bought a bottle of the Strawberry Rum (smooth) and the Spiced Rum.to take to our family reunion where both were a hit. See more..

  11. 4.0 The Book Outlet (1 review)
    - GREAT NEW & USED BOOKSTORE ON US 1
    Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops
Doing some holiday shopping along US 1 from Seabrook through The Hamptons, and into Portsmouth, I stopped by The Book Outlet in the Village Shopping Center in search of a nice calendar or a coffee table book in the travel category. The Book Outlet sells new and gently-used books at 20% off to 50% off. This bookstore had a great selection across all genres from fiction, non-fiction, history, and cookbooks to young adults and children’s, etc. The travel section was not a large as I’d hoped. The store staff was very friendly and very helpful. The tables and shelves were tidy I rate The Book Outlet at 4:50 and can recommend a visit in any season. The shop had plenty of books that would make great beach reads in the summer. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below. See more..
  12. 4.0 L.L. Bean Outlet (1 review)
    - WELL-STOCKED L.L. BEAN OUTLET WITH GREAT PRICES
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Factory Outlets
Shopping along US 1 from Portsmouth to Seabrook, one of my stops was at the L.L. Bean Outlet at Lafayette Crossing. Signs in the windows advertised 40% off and 50% off sales. Entering the store, I encountered several families with youngsters. Each person was carrying at least one bagful of purchases. Inside, I browsed sales on outerwear, sweaters, fleece tops, waterproof footwear, sheepskin moccasins, luggage, backpacks, sleepwear and bathrobes. There was a wide selection of styles and sizes for the whole family. The store had a small home goods section. There were plenty of bargains to be had. I was hoping for a new 1/4-zip fleece top, but there were no colors that I didn’t already have. Rate this L.L. Bean Outlet at 4.50 and recommend a visit. 13. 4.0 Lafayette Crossing (1 review)
    - GOOD SHOPPING PLAZA WITH DINING & AN L.L. BEAN OUTLET
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM Shopping Malls
    Lafayette Crossing image
Shopping along US 1 from Portsmouth to Seabrook, I stopped in at Lafayette Crossing. My main destination there was the L.L. Bean Outlet to shop the Winter Sale with 40% to 50% off. As I entered the store, I passed several families with youngsters carrying several bags full of purchases. On this trip, I drove around the shopping plaza to see all the stores and other businesses that included a UPS Store, Shaw’s Supermarket, Marshalls, and Home Depot, plus Workout Anytime, Sport Clips Haircuts, Granite State Growler Tours, and Luv 2 Play, an indoor playground. For dining, the shopping plaza had The Barley House, featuring fresh craft beer and a tavern menu with many signature dishes. This a second location for The Barley House. The original is in Concord, NH. I rate Lafayette Crossing at 4.0. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below. See more..
