- 5.0 Bay Venture Outfitters (38 reviews)
-Relaxing Family Outing surrounded by the beauty of nature
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Boat Rentals • Kayaking & Canoeing
We booked this trip the night before Memorial Day and were so glad we did. This was a needed mini vacation for our family after COVID quarantine. They online booking and waiver submission was seem less. The operator is following all safety protocol with social distancing and cleaning. The staff was very helpful in explaining the basics in kayaking, where we could go and helped pull our kayaks in and out of the water. North East is also a cute little town to explore with many shops and carry out restaurant opportunities. We loved the serenity of our Kayak adventure. We spotted Osprey, an Eagle, Comorants, and turtles. There is a cute waterfront park nearby with pavilions. We had a picnic lunch there and then ventured on to Elk Neck State Park to see the beach area and lighthouse. See more..

-Wonderful trail ride on beautiful horses.
Farms • Horseback Riding Tours
We (2 adults and 2 children 10 and 8) had a wonderful afternoon trail ride which we had booked in advance. Horses were beautiful, well mannered and fit. The trail involved quite a bit of riding thru cool woods which we all appreciated in July. All the staff was very professional and friendly. We all loved the ride and are looking forward to a return visit. See more..
- 5.0 North East Community Park (7 reviews)
-Quaint and Enjoyable Park
Parks • Scenic Walking Areas
Came upon this park while staying in North East. What a pleasant little quaint park to enjoy for the afternoon. Very much enjoyed relaxing, fishing off the free fishing dock and eating at the wonderful restaurant next to the park, which overlooks the park and marina. Extra special was the Upper Bay Museum in the park, a free museum which was informative and fun. Enjoy! See more..
- 5.0 North East Adventure Paintball (5 reviews)
-Great time with my fiancé
Spent 2-3 hours Game & Entertainment Centers
At North East Adventure Paintball, adventure is a family affair. Thomas Sellers opened the 6.5-acre facility in May 2022 with the goal of providing a safe venue for exhilarating rounds of paintball. Before the grand opening, the park consist of six themed fields and dotted each landscape with matching obstacles: Old Castle field has a stone fortress; Civil War field features simulated headquarters and trenches. Today, players 6 or older sprint across the six fields in games of elimination, respawn, Alamo, sharpshooter, and capture the flag. Eco-friendly, oil-free paint splatters against protective gear as players duck behind shelters or leap over barriers. Lower-speed paintball guns are available for younger players whose reflexes have not evolved into cats just yet. After an adrenaline-fueled battle, players can eat food they've brought with them at shaded, sheltered picnic tables, or purchase food and drink at the concession stand. See more..
- 5.0 Chesapeake Gold Farms (1 review)
-Charcuterie special is a good way to feature the salami and cheeses
Spent < 1 hour Farms
Chesapeake Gold Farms features natural Cheddar and Colby cheeses made 100% from the milk of their own cows. There are no added oils or preservatives. A variety of beef products are sold including salami, beef sticks, sausages, and fresh cuts. I got the Charcuterie special ... 2 cheeses and a salami. My choices were Peppercorn cheddar and Garlic and Dill cheddar plus the Ararat Salami with spices such as fenugreek and paprika. For good measure I also got the Chajari Salami with nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and whole peppercorn. A small card was included with serving instructions. The staff were cheerful and most helpful. Friends greatly enjoyed the cheeses and salami later that day. See more..

- 4.5 Turkey Point Vineyard Tasting Room and Gift Shop (14 reviews)
-Better Red than Dead
Wineries & Vineyards
While you can find vineyards that offer seasonal tastings, it is very unusual for a vineyard to actually have a store-front location in and around The Chesapeake Bay (town of North East, MD.).where you can really take your time and savor the tastes, bins, and a lot more. The Eastern Shore town o North East (approx. 2,200 population) is located on a peninsula that sticks -out into the Bay (13 miles from the town) along the banks of the Northeast River. Actually the five rivers that form the Chesapeake Bay are all there (Susquehanna, Northeast, Elk, Bohemia and the Sassafras). You can sightsee beautiful scenery, eat at neat restaurants, shop and taste area wines all in the heart of this town. See more..

Has upstairs where the Kramers used to reside. Always purchase something that we have to fit in the car and take back to Colorado. -Lacrosse tournament
State Parks • Parks • Playgrounds
We came here for a lacrosse tournament. The fields were in good condition and the park had plenty of portable restrooms and food vendors. My only complaint was that we needed to travel on the road to get to each field, while cars were on the road. At times, it was rather dangerous. See more..
