   This museum is an absolute gem and so is “Storm”. His substantial knowledge of history, cars, tools and appliances used in every day life is incredible and so is this museum’s fascinating collection. There are lots of opportunities to actually try things. We worked a 125 year old washing machine, jacked up a carriage and made calls with early phones…and so much more. Our group of 2 adults and 4 kids from 12 to 16 were even given a rides on an early Ford. I hope to return before our local visit ends. If you visit, you won’t regret it! See more..

   Loved this place. Even though it is a volunteer run place they have great trails that are well maintained. There are a good variety for different skill levels. Beautiful skiing through the woods and some great views of Mount Kearsarge. The Schlosser Schuss trail has a particularly nice run along a river. Saw Otter tracks in the snow last time there.    I haven't yet purchased one of their electric bike, but I have been rides with friends who have their bikes. You can tell which friends have the Pedego bikes, they have the biggest smiles. I mostly buy bike accessories and have tune ups on my road bike. See more..
