As with many parks, there is a small dog side and one for larger or any dogs. There is a nice hilly walking path with lots of room for the "bigs" to play. The water pond is open for the swimmers (dogs). I see regulars frequently. The lawns are maintained and there are ample shade trees. On the "little" side, it's a bit quieter. Still, it is clean. we took our 5 small grand kids there, (all under the age of 6) on one of those days the weather was too cold to go to the park to play. We had never been there but had heard about it from some friends. They have a family pass deal that we were able to use as all the kids were related and it was so great. The kids went wild. There are jungle gyms for them to climb on, puzzles, little kitchens, stores, house, great learning and play stuff. The adults had fun watching and the men hung out with their laptops as there is free wifi, finally this grandma and the mummys got to relax with a great cuppa while the men chased the kids and grand kids around. No one was bored...not even the men. Great time had by all. they do have food to buy there and there was a birthday party going on while we were there which they have a seperate room for the partys. Up in Nampa, ID to visit a friend. Managed to convince him to go to a brewery. Stopped in at Crescent Brewery and were glad we did. Crescent Brewery has a variety of beers for all kinds of people. We spent time with the Jerry, the owner/brewer/custodian/jack of all trades. He was warm and gracious with everyone who came in. He really enjoys making great beer and sharing with people. He has made it a place that you can call home. Friendly and inviting. I enjoyed the Searph, Skull Splitter and the Chocolate Porter the most. Skull Splitter is a Black IPA that won a gold award. I would have to agree with the judges. Really well made black IPA. Strong coffee flavor up front with IPA finish. Chocolate Porter has the right amount of chocolate to balance this porter. Its nice and light, like a summer beer, but at the same time loaded with good taste. The Seraph is my favorite. Good IPA with bold flavor. I'd buy this at a bar/restaurant/store. The wee 9 is a really nice exeutive course. The greens are well kept and fairways are i good conditio. Id say its one of the better of not top 3 public courses ive golfed at. The clubhouse is very nice and food is good. The rental clubs are in good shape as well. My expierence is its a great place to golf. The course is nice, neat and clean. Its fairly technical with the terrain thats avaiable to play. Wife is in the golf leauge there and its an excellent value as well. This is my favorite antique store located in downtown Nampa. Highly recommend! The shop is open Wednesday-Saturday 12pm-5pm. The owner is down to earth (he doesn't have that stuffy, antique dealer attitude). All items price to sell. Make sure to check out the Facebook page. He posts pictures weekly of the new merchandise. He goes out of his way to find unique items for his store. I love shopping for vintage Christmas items. He has a huge selection of holiday items, glassware, baskets, toys, outdoor decor, suitcases, lamps, unique items etc. too much to list. There's merchandise outside too. Make sure you take a picture with Mr. Indian and Ms. Cowgirl hat lady (mannequins) who sits in the shop everyday. See more..

The Nampa Fish Hatchery is operated by the Idaho Fish and Game Department and is located on the south end of Nampa at the intersection of South Powerline Road and Locust Lane. This hatchery is the second largest hatchery in the state's resident hatchery system and raises and stocks fish in every region in the state. This raises rainbow trout, Lahontan cutthroat, brown trout, and Chinook salmon, which you can see in the tanks at various sizes. They also provide information on fishing and outdoor activities in the Boise are. We stayed in the area for a week touring the wineries on the Sunny Slope wine trail. We completely loved our visit at Sawtooth. It was an inviting atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the wine flight consisting of the '18 Red Blend, '19 Old Vine Cab, Sparkling Savage and Sparkling Rose. I felt the pours were generous and very tasty. We were welcomed by actors in costumes who gave us personal masks and hand sanitizers, then directed to the line to obtain our newly assigned social distancing seats. Everyone was friendly, efficient and festively dressed for the performance of the day — Chess. After arriving at our seats, we enjoyed the video of the shows back story playing on each side of the stage. The show was delightful— sadly, the instruments overwhelmed the signers during the first 30% of the show. Once that was evened out, it was wonderful to hear such beautiful voices. There was a short intermission - most people remained in the seats as there was sparse attendance. The production of Chess was a welcome light of the old normalcy in the midst of Covid 19. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to see a live show in the Treasure Valley. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon delight! I look forward to more ! See more..
