    Rocky Mountain Outfitters image
I surprised my loved one with a two hour ride. She had no idea what we were doing, and was blown away with how awesome the whole experience was. When we arrived we were greeted with enthusiasm and wonderful hosts. I took the opportunity to propose to my loved one and the guide was quick to grab a picture of me down on one knee handing the ring to her. I had never been on a horse before and the horses were very well behaved. I was very impressed with how the whole experience went and would recommend Rocky Mountain Outfitters to anyone that wants to have an awesome time for a great price. I will definitely be using this service in the future. Fantastic job! See more..
  2. 5.0 Wasatch Excursions (397 reviews)
    - Book a private UTV tour of Wasatch Mountain State Park with Mason, he’s the best!
    4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Ski & Snow Tours • Gear Rentals
    Wasatch Excursions image
We booked a guided UTV tour with Wasatch Excursions to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the highlight of our Park City vacation. Our tour guide, Mason, took us on a two-hour ride through Wasatch Mountain State Park where we did several water crossings, wove through aspen groves, and climbed to the top of the mountain to enjoy unparalleled views of the state park, Heber Valley, and Deer Creek Reservoir. We passed a handful of other riders on the trails, but we had the final viewpoint to ourselves and it was amazing. I would highly recommend booking a guided tour with Wasatch Excursions, and if you can swing it, a private tour with Mason. It’s worth every penny, and you’ll have an adventure that you’ll be talking about for years to come. See more..

  5. 5.0 Paddle Park City (7 reviews)
    - Such a perfect day!
    Surfing & Windsurfing
    Paddle Park City image
I initially found Paddle Park City on the internet. What was most appealing was the fact that the boards were a reasonable price! Finding the address in the adorable little town of Midway was fairly easy. When we arrived, Jill and her husband taught us how to properly use the boards and paddles; then suited us up with the proper life vests. They were also kind enough to help strap the boards down to our car before we drove to the lake nearby. Needless to say, my family and I had a blast. The boards were quite easy to use, not only for the adults but for the kids as well! We all decided paddle boarding would become a family tradition. What made the experience even better was that Jill and her husband were so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Paddle Park City to anyone looking for a family friendly activity in that area. -Kaylee Holgreen See more..

Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, a small family dairy farm and creamery nestled in the quaint community of Midway, Utah. For nearly 100 years the Kohler family has been producing premium milk – pure, rich & creamy – to delight their consumers. In 2011, the family built a new creamery and began using their farm’s milk to handcraft and age artisan cheese. Today, visitors can stop by the farm store to sample fresh cheese & handcrafted fudge daily; purchase raw milk, fresh & aged cheeses, handcrafted jam, fudge, cookies and candy. Or grab some famous Aggie Ice Cream, a fresh grilled cheese sandwich or a nice bowl of soup - and enjoy it in our store or on the patio. See more..

What a beautiful and huge park. Fishing, hiking, camping and for those that need it, RV waste removal area. Enter via main drive and drive about 2 miles to campsite, left and through the guard gate. Look left. This is the gateway to Park City via highway 224 and is much better than the highways. Glorious drive. See more..

    Wasatch Mountain- Mountain Course image
After sinking a putt, we’d jump in the cart, excited to see what amazing view awaited us at the next turn. This course is kept in pristine condition and has a good mix of challenging holes. Visiting from out of state, we rented clubs and were impressed with the quality of the sets. Look forward to returning for a fall visit. See more..
  11. 4.5 Soldier Hollow Golf Course (35 reviews)
    - Great course, wonderful shape and beautiful views
    Golf Courses
    Soldier Hollow Golf Course image
We visited Midway and Park City to visit the kids and played the Gold Course at Soldier Hollow. We have played both courses but being from AZ the Gold course is our favorite. The fall view is beautiful, showing the mountains with Fall colors and early snow on the Mountains. The course is great,,big spread on the tees with a healthy rating on each one. They had just done the greens, without telling us when we made the tee time but overall the greens were 6-7 ratings and didnt hamper our putting. See more..
  12. 4.5 Midway Ice Arena (16 reviews)
    - Evening skate
    Arenas & Stadiums
We brought our skates on our ski trip and made a point to get on this ice. It was my birthday and we had skied Sundance during the day. After a birthday pottery class in the Art Studio, we came back to Midway and grabbed our skates! The staff was friendly and helpful. We wondered about the rough surface comments and we assumed those folks have never skated outside. We joked that they shouldn't skate on a pond! We thoroughly enjoyed our 50 minutes on the smooth ice and then walked a few blocks to our dinner reservations. A lovely evening on the ice! See more..

  15. 4.0 Soldier Hollow (179 reviews)
    - Good winter activities
    Ski & Snowboard Areas
    Soldier Hollow image
We went tubing here last year and had a blast! This year we couldn't get a tubing reservation, so we did the cross country skiing instead (basically the same price for either activity for our family). It was affordable for skiing (but I thought expensive for tubing) and a good way to introduce our kids to skiing and learn they don't like it and they're a bunch of wimps. I'd like to come back again and do either activity in the future. See more..

    Crater Springs Golf Course image
We went to "The Crater" for a swim. It was nice. I didn't expect it to be so small or have to wear life jackets but didn't mind. I think the best time to go is within the last hour and a half before they close if you're an adult and want to avoid the crowds and loud kids. See more..
  18. 3.5 Spa At Zermatt (11 reviews)
    - Review of the Spa at Zermatt Resort in Midway, Utah
    Spas
    Spa At Zermatt image
Having been to numerous spas across the US and Mexico I was disappointed. The spa service itself (coffee scrub) was great and the technician was very nice. I have had a coffee scrub before and was expecting the aromatic aspect of the coffee and was disappointed there was NO aroma. The site lists the use of a waterfall hot tub, steam room, aromatic grotto, and pool. These are all part of the HOTEL, not the Spa. The dressing room for the spa was the dressing room for the weight room. The waiting area was nice, no music but had fresh cucumber / lime water and a fireplace. The steam room was being totally remodeled and CLOSED. You had to walk through the hotel guest in the weight room to get to the CLOSED steam room. We were not told this when booking our reservation. I assume the grotto is attached to that as well, never found it, nor was told where it was. The (2) hot tubs are in the indoor/outdoor pool area where ALL THE SCREAMING CHILDREN were. Definitely not part of the spa, thus clothing was required. When you are paying a hundreds of dollars for Spa treatments and the whole Spa experience this was not worth the money. Won't waste my money there again. See more..
