I stopped in for the first time and thought I went to heaven! My favorite flavor is lemon and they were sampling lemon raspberry...that was my first clue! The cake was tender and moist and the flavor was perfect. While the frosting was quite tasty it was almost like gilding the lily. The cake was perfect without. The cakes can also be bought without frosting. Absolutely wonderful! See more..

    Meridian Idaho Temple image
The gates have reopened at the Meridian Temple to allow visitors to enjoy this wonderful spot. Covid-19 precautions made it necessary to lock the gates and limit guests from walking the grounds for a time; but hopefully those days are now past. There are several benches from which to ponder while experiencing the peaceful aura and visual feast. Landscaping includes many different types of trees, shrubbery, flowers, and plants plus a large reflecting pool. The site also provides picturesque views of the Boise River to the north. Even though only recommended church members can enter the building, everyone can enjoy a peaceful stroll around this beautiful House of the Lord and feel God's presence near this Holy Temple! We love the shopping and restaurants at the Village. And in the winter, ice skating is available. The cost is reasonable, and the length of time was perfect (1/2 hour) for our group. Reservations are needed, and cost includes skates. The rink is rather small, but that was great for us. The kids loved it. See more..

  13. 4.5 Settlers Park (25 reviews)
    - Wide variety in this park

    Settlers Park image
Tennis, baseball, splash pad, horseshoes, fishing pond, playground, picnic tables, large fields, pavilions, this park seems to have it all. I also like that it has two separate parking areas. Playground has like 3 different areas-very large pirate themed one, some rock climbing things for kids & teens, and musical things to play & interact with. Swing area has several swings-and 3 different types of swings. May not be the best park if you only have one adult and several children-especially if you have kids who wander since the playground area is kind of spread out. See more..

Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park image
Kleiner Park has something for everyone -- from Jogging/Walking Paths to Children's Playgrounds, from Disc Golf to Bocce Ball and Basketball, from Fishing to large Pavilions and more! The location is great, right next to The Village at Meridian. I also like the slow-speed, one-way traffic route that circles through the park, thus allowing you to get close to your desired area without carrying all your stuff for a long distance. The small hills add a feeling of expansive space while the fountains in the ponds keep the water looking fresh. I definitely rate this park as a local treasure. See more..

Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Auto Racing Tracks
    Meridian Speedway image
Great parking, great seating, plenty of food & product vendors and lots and lots of action on the track. This venue is a family venue, young kids (6 y/o and up) should enjoy watching fast and noisey race cars go around and around the oval track. Bring seat cushions, sunglasses and ear protection 'cause it is loud. Try and visit the night they run the "outlaws" or midget cars, they are really fun to watch. See more..

  22. 4.0 High Desert Harley Davidson (11 reviews)
    - Exceptional customer service after the sale
Spent < 1 hour Gear Rentals
    High Desert Harley Davidson image
I had five hours waiting on a plane home to CDA and killed some time at the dealer, I ended up with a smoking deal on a new Limited. I only had about 15 min to do the paperwork before i left and when I looked it over when i got home I realized something that I didnt catch when I signed the contract. The dealer really didnt have any reason to fix this major misunderstanding but they corrected the issue, in excess of my expectations, just to make me satisfied with my purchase. The people who worked on this for me put forth a great deal of time and effort to keep me as a customer. I ride about 13k miles a year and usually buy a new bike every 3 years. At my current age, I will probably have another 10 or so motorcycles and I will give High Desert the first opportunity to sell me every one. Thank you so much, you know who you are! See more..

  24. 4.0 Slanted Rock Brewing Company (7 reviews)
    - First Impression
    Wednesday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Breweries
    Slanted Rock Brewing Company image
I've only been to the tasting room once so the 4 stars is basically for their beer quality more than anything else... This is just a tasting/tap room, they don't have food of any kind (at least they didn't when I was there) so just come for the beer, which is excellent. The location isn't great & I have to assume they chose it cause it was cheep. It's basically in a strip-mall off the freeway between Meridian & Boise, which is close to exactly nowhere else I'd want to go. The Mister & I were the only people their aside from the bartender & the brew-master in the back and it was a bit awkward feeling, but I assume it must not feel that quiet and weird all the time, at least I hope it doesn't. We'll be back, but only because the beer is so good. See more..
  25. 4.0 Western Heritage Historic Byway (1 review)
    - Interesting Historic Sites and Beautiful Scenery
Spent More than 3 hours Scenic Drives
    Western Heritage Historic Byway image
This is a scenic and educational driving tour to historic sites in the town of Kuna and along the Snake River. We visited in July and it was oppressively hot; spring or fall would be better if your plans are flexible. It took us about half a day to drive along the river from Walter's Ferry to Swan Falls Dam on Warren Spur Rd., Sinker Rd., Victory Lane and S. Swan Falls Rd. We stopped at Celebration Park where there is a historic railroad bridge and a trail to a petroglyph site, and also at Swan Falls Dam. There are picnic areas and river access at both of these sites. Restrooms are also available at those sites and at Walter's Ferry recreation area and Dedication Point trail head (overlook of Snake River Canyon). There are educational signs at several locations along the way. The route goes through the Birds of Prey Conservation Area, so take binoculars for spotting the eagles and hawks that nest in the canyon walls. One could easily spend an entire day exploring this area! Note that the museum at Swan Falls Dam is only open on Saturdays. See more..
  26. 2.0 Linder Farms (42 reviews)
    - Message to the owners
Spent More than 3 hours Farms
    Linder Farms image
I don’t like negative reviewing small businesses because I know that several bad reviews can negatively impact someone’s livelihood. That is partially why i didn’t put a 1 star… but this place deserves a 1 star (or less) review. You pay $$$ to get in and there is NOTHING to do! Everything seems really run down and sad. No pumpkin patch, corn maze, etc despite advertising for them. We kept asking if there would be more apple cider and the response we kept getting was “if they aren’t on the stage actively making it then there isn’t any”. My advice to the owners is to be more transparent, fix up the attractions, fix your advertising, and maybe consider adjusting the price as well. I think you have all the tools to succeed … just need to implement it better. We travel from washington to go to this place with my family in Idaho and it was a huge let down for us and my kids. Please take my advice and improve on what you have. See more..
