I thoroughly enjoyed the tour! I live in Seattle and was looking for something to do with an out-of-town visitor that wasn't the typical Space Needle or Pike Place Market thing. This tour was a great way to spend a couple of hours learning about the history of Mercer Island while tasting some great food. The Oh Chocolate truffles were amazing and I never would have know about Shawn's despite having driven by several times. The guide was great and the other participants were fun to talk to as well. I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting or even to people who live here and want to experience something different. See more..

My family visited this park on a Friday afternoon to get some exercise and walk our dog on a sunny day. The park is beautiful with lots of grassy space and nice trails by the lake and into the marsh preserve. They also have a large sandy dog off-leash area with access to the lake for dogs to jump in an swim, fetch. Lots of nice small nooks were people could plop down a chair and enjoy the water.
