    - Another jewel of a state park in Washington!

I've been camping at this park since I first discovered it in 1993. It is an excellent place to paddle if you like sea kayaking, as there are quiet waters within the bay between Indian and Marrowstone islands, as well as more adventurous paddles around Indian island and back through the narrows at high tide on the south end. There is also excellent trail hiking, and if you have young children, there are old abandoned artillery gun emplacements from the first half of the 20th century to explore. You can get food about 10 miles away in Port Hadlock. Fishing is also excellent, and the views from the upper campground or from the lower one are superb! See more..
  2. 3.5 Marrowstone Point Lighthouse (14 reviews)
    - Worth the drive

From Port Townsend WA it's about a thirty minute drive. It's one of many lighthouses in the area to help mariners navigate the waters and islands. My favorite part was enjoying the beach walk with huge piles of driftwood. The views are lovely. The wildflowers are amazing. I found the largest rose hips I've ever seen. See more..
  3. 3.5 Mystery Bay State Park (12 reviews)
    - It’s worth the stop!

As we were driving around Marrowstone Island, we took the turn in to Mystery bay. We didn’t know how it got its name, but it is lovely. See more..
