  1. 5.0 Granite State Escape (165 reviews)
    - A great time had by all at Cook Manor
Saturday: 11:30 AM - 10:30 PM Spent 1-2 hours Escape Games
    Granite State Escape image
Wow, what a fun venue! My husband and I just completed the Mystery at Cook Manor. We had an amazing orientation and the room was pretty well done. A lot of traditional locks, but some next gen elements as well. The owners of this venue clearly love the art of escape rooms and put a lot of time and thought into a quality experience for their guests. We escaped with a lot of time left, so experienced escapers may want to opt for a harder room (for reference, we have done 50+). If it is one of your first few though, I think you’ll really enjoy it! Currier Museum of Art image
Small museum but interesting art collection. Great for a couple of hours of fine art viewing. But what is truly exceptional is the tour of two Frank Lloyd Wright houses in Manchester NH. The Zimmerman House is truly special. And the Kalal House is at the very least a fascinating example of a modular design specifically developed for middle class FLW clients. Having these two houses connected to the museum makes it truly worth the trip. Must have reservations to go on the house tour as they only take up to 10 people at a time. See more..

    Palace Theatre image
We visited the theatre to see school of rock, unfortunately we only got to see the first half as a member of our party took sick. The staff were incredible providing first aid and giving us privacy in a room of our own. They provided water and never left our side right up to exiting the theatre. We cannot thank them enough. 7. 4.5 Livingston Park (207 reviews)
    - Nature in the city
    Parks
    Livingston Park image
The trail around the pond is a 1 Mile loop, makes it easy for planning a workout. Plenty of parking, public restrooms which are usually pretty clean, and trash cans near the bathroom building. There's a pool open during the summer (for residents) and a playground open all year. I usually see some wildlife - turtles, ducks, fish, and other little wetland critters. A lot of people bring their dogs, but most obey the leash laws. The trail is fairly level, not many roots or rocks to trip on, and well maintained. You can wear sneakers if you don't have hiking shoes. I have also seen some people out in flip flops and they do fine... It does get pretty icy during the winter after snow gets packed down hard on the trail, wear ice cleats on your boots! It's pretty quiet, you can't hear much road noise even though the highway isn't far. Overall, a great place to get a dose of nature during any season, even in the city! See more..

    To Share Brewing Company image
To Share Brewing Company opened their doors on 12/15/18 to a nice crowd of thirsty locals. The doors opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Manchester. There are currently 6 beers on tap. They are a Cream Ale, Stout, Hefeweizen, and 3 IPAs. I enjoyed all six of them. The Stout and Hefeweizen really hit the spot. The facility has plenty of seating. There is free on street parking. To Share also has a limited food menu. Like many breweries there are games to play while enjoying their creations. See more..

Great venue. Have seen many shows here. Clean and easy to navigate. Saw TSO on 11/25/22 7:30pm show. The bartender in the Sam Adams lounge. We paid him a $20.00 cash tip. Nothing on the card. He helped himself to a 14% tip after we left. See more..

    - Hands-on Science
    Science Museums
    SEE Science Center image
Awesome exhibit! Everything is hands-on, which means Mom is following behind everyone with a bottle of hand sanitizer. I loved that the exhibits explain things how kids understand (ex: cookie factory to explain DNA/RNA coding) and also that there were several placards in English and Spanish. The science center is two levels of fun. Our four year old found so many interesting exhibits and did not want to leave. We spent about 2 hours here. Free parking at 200 Bedford lot, but the street in front of the museum is metered. See more..
  16. 4.0 Candia Road Brewing Company (11 reviews)
    - Small Brewpub
    Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Breweries
    Candia Road Brewing Company image
We were looking for a brewpub for a beer before dinner and found the Candia Road Brewing Company outside of downtown Manchester. It turned out to be small and somewhat simple. They had 12 of their beers on tap – but the only one I was interested in was out at the time – bad luck. So, I had it in a can. Not much of a brewpub experience. We only went for beer, so we didn’t try their food – they have a small kitchen. See more..

Aigean Ales is a true hidden treasure. This local Manchester nano brewery located in the historic Waumbec Mills is must stop on your next brewery tour. The owners make you feel like family when you visit. The taproom is comfortable. Their creations are tasty and consistent in quality. I really enjoy their Ostrea Stout (oyster stout). It always hits the spot and comes in at 7% abv. They also have these on tap: Wicked Hexan: sour pumpkin ale 7.7% abv, Casuir: double IPA 8.2% abv, Honey Smoked Sour ale: 10% abv, Hexan Krieg (American wild ale aged w/ cherries) 7% abv. 21. 3.5 America's Credit Union Museum (7 reviews)
    - Credit Union members would enjoy this museum
Saturday: 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM Speciality Museums
As someone who has been involved with credit unions for many years, I wanted to visit the American Credit Union Museum while in Manchester. We found the location with the aid of our Garmin in a picturesque section of the town. The entrance to the museum is actually on the side street and we had to ring the bell to enter. Once inside, the museum's Executive Director Stephanie took us on a tour. While I knew some credit union history, I was pleased to learn many details that were new to me. There really is an interesting story here and the former mansion is a perfect place to house the museum. See more..

  25. 2.5 Manchester Poker Room & Casino (2 reviews)
    - Average spot
Saturday: 12:00 PM - 1:00 AM Spent 1-2 hours Casinos
I went in with a few friends to see what the place was about. It was apparently a slow period with not much going on. The bar serves drinks that are nothing spectacular and I would say virtually any other spot in Manchester serves better and more potent drinks. This is not a spot I'd recommend for much of anything.
