   I’ve enjoyed Benton bacon for years so on a recent trip to Gatlinburg, we stopped at the Benton meat store. This place is legitimate! You can see the meat hanging in a room just like our ancestors cured meat. I bought a large whole ham for $80 and they deboned it for me . ( keep the bones for greens or beans). Very nice guys that are very helpful. I also bought a pound of bacon for $8, which sells in retail stores for $15. You can also buy deli meat, beef tenderloin and hotdogs. The best cured ham ever!    I've used Kefauver Park for walking and jogging for years. Nice easy one mile loop with good views of the small lake. Easy off and on is good for people who aren't sure how far they can make it. Restroom facilities are on both sides of the park so very convenient. The Canadian Geese can be a little annoying so stay out their way. Don't feed the ducks, bad idea.
