I’ve enjoyed Benton bacon for years so on a recent trip to Gatlinburg, we stopped at the Benton meat store. This place is legitimate! You can see the meat hanging in a room just like our ancestors cured meat. I bought a large whole ham for $80 and they deboned it for me . ( keep the bones for greens or beans). Very nice guys that are very helpful. I also bought a pound of bacon for $8, which sells in retail stores for $15. You can also buy deli meat, beef tenderloin and hotdogs. The best cured ham ever! Worth the stop.See more..
