Great family friendly trip. Captain took time to share all the interesting aspects of the canyon, history and wildlife. He even took time to circle back around so everyone could get an up close view of the bighorn sheep. Have already recommended it to a friend. Took the tour with 3 adults, a 7 yo and a 5 yo. Points of Interest & Landmarks
We are interested in the Native American history and this stop has been on our bucket list for some time. Don't let the 3 mile round trip walk scare you as we are not in the best of shape and it was very doable plus there are several benches along the way to sit and take in the views. I believe that handicapped transportation is allowed but I suggest that you check that. The pictures do not do the views justice and yes that is snow along the path. They are very protective of any Native American rituals that may happened to be going on and they ask everyone to be respectful while they are happening. See more..
