   This visit was bittersweet. First, the whole area of Lock Haven is suffering and so many things are still closed. We made appointments to visit things in the area and they were not open when we arrived. This museum was the same. Finally, 40 minutes after our appointment time, the gift shop worker was able to teach his boss and get the doors open. The museum itself has an extensive, sequential history of the Piper Club. Although I fir stubs the displays need updating and freshening up. They referenced a few books in the museum that I couldn’t wait to buy in the gift shop but when I went there the gift shop didn’t sell any of the books and they were really limited on what they did sell. If there is any way to boost revenue I would believe that might be it. The most interesting part of the museum was when we went downstairs to see the Piper Cubs on display. That was fascinating. The person d who worked the shop was super nice and apologetic about the building not being open. See more..

   Went early before the students arrived. It looked closed and dingy from the outside, but turned out to be a Great place to catch up on the history and current news of Lock Haven with the friendly staff and locals. The live singer played a lot of the 70/80s music. The food was nothing fancy, but quite tasty. See more..
