   This 9 hole course has a little bit of it all to help keep you entertained, no matter your skill level. We went golfing at 5 pm on a Saturday night and we had the place to ourselves. The course was in great condition and with few people around us, it was just my speed. We were able to take our time, enjoy the views and the atmosphere of a quiet evening. Really the entire atmosphere was what helped make this an enjoyable evening. The course is made up of a mixture of pars and really have some subtle changes in elevation that give it some nice level of challenge. It is right off the highway in Lebanon and is near the boarder of Vermont. I will certainly be back to this place! See more..

   We have ridden the entire Northern Rail Trail , and some sections more than once. In general the surface is good and the grades easy. There are some stretches in the southern section ghat are not very appealing, but for the most part the trail is very scenic. On our most recent outing we rode from Webster Lake in Franklin to Highland Lake in Andover. The section is completely wooded and not overly busy. See more..

   The Mascoma River Greenway was built as an accessible multiuse trail for bikes, walkers, runners and people needing mobility devices. It is a paved path from a former well-graded rail bed. Running between Lebanon and Miracle Mile a couple of miles out from the center of town, not only is it a lovely walking path but makes walking and biking to shopping centers safe. In the winter half of the path is plowed for foot and bike traffic, leaving snow for anyone who fancies some cross-country skiing. It is a favorite walk for my husband and I. See more..

    A great favorite if locals. Lots of space for young kids to run around, skate park for older kids, horse shoe area and great walking trails. A covered Pavillion with many big people tables and a few little people tables give plenty of seating. A few extra tables strewn throughout give a great spot for those wanting just a quiet lunch. Downside to this park is no restroom facilities. There are 2 porta-potties but in really warm summertime heat they are next to unbearable. The other downside is no handwashing locations and I haven't seen a drinking fountain. Other than that the kids love it here and we prepare ourselves with handiest and such when we come.     I did the Kayak Discovery with my wife & teenage twin daughters along my Grad Student niece in late August on a beautiful Saturday Morning. Our guide's name was David. He is outstanding! Dave is knowledgeable, patient & really knows his stuff! Dave reviewed some safety practices, demonstrated how to hold the paddle, the strokes & showed us how to turn & stop. Then he helped up get into the kayaks. We spent an hour paddling around the shore of the Storrs Pond. We saw fish & turtles. It was a great family experience. Dave is really a credit to the LL Bean team. He made it an enjoyable outing for all of us. Highly recommended! See more..
