    - Great Local Resource
    Spent 1-2 hours Libraries
    Kirkland Library image
Books, ebooks, audio books, magazines, DVDs, internet access, study rooms, conference rooms and more. There is plenty of parking, comfy seating and friendly staff to answer questions. The library is clean, well lit and generally quiet. Sadly, there are lots of empty bookshelves on the second floor. A sign of the e-times, I guess. I work at home and when my internet is down I have used it many times as my "satellite office." It is a MUCH better option than any noisy coffee shop. See more..

    O. O. Denny Park image
This short hike through the woods is nothing short of spectacular for any photographer or a simple stroll into wonderland. After you park in the trailhead lot, walk directly in front and up a short grass incline to the trailhead. The trail splits into two directions, stay to the left and go straight across the wooden foot bridges. Make sure to look in all directions. Along the trail you will see Sylvia a 600yr old over 26 feet in circumference Douglas fir tree. All photos by Louis Ruth Photography.com @2019 See more..
  14. 4.5 Bridle Trails State Park (14 reviews)
    - Great place for a walk
    State Parks • Forests
    Bridle Trails State Park image
This is a great place for a walk - in the 1-3 mile range. The only problem is this park is BIG and if you go off path you could spend MANY hours finding your way back. The only other drawback is that the trails are primarily for horses...which means you may be dodging some fresh horse "patties" along the way. Theirs enough foliage that even if it's raining, it's likely if your in the park that you won't get wet - but the trails do get muddy on occasion. See more..

  21. 4.0 Juanita Beach Park (116 reviews)
    - Beautiful Juanita Beach Park
    Beaches
    Juanita Beach Park image
The was the last stop during our visit to Kirkland. This beach used to have a resort owned and operated by the Forbes family until they sold it King’s County. This fulfilled their wish to make their land public. More details were found on a market near the beach. Besides the well maintained beach, a boardwalk extended out into the lake in an L shape. A large playground was also being built and will someday entertain lots of kids. This parking lot had quite a bit of open spaces along with spots across the street so it makes it easier for many to enjoy once the weather warms up. See more..
  22. 4.0 Techcity Bowl & Fun Center (50 reviews)
    - Very clean, well run plus good food!
    Bowling Alleys
Techcity Bowl & Fun Center image
We came here on a Saturday morning when we needed something to do. We arrived shortly after it opened and were able to get a lane right away for the five of us. About half of the lanes were already occupied and it got progressively busier as the morning went on. We were impressed with the easy check-in, cleanliness of the facility and shoes, the arcade and the food. We ordered nachos and mozzarella sticks to eat, and Bloody Marys and sodas to drink. All was really good. After bowling for a couple hours, we then played in the arcade for an hour. EVERY MACHINE WAS WORKING, which gave us lots to do. There were probably 20 games to choose from. We will definitely be back. See more..

  27. 4.0 Edith Moulton Park (2 reviews)
    - Very Nice Dog Park
    Parks
First time in the park after the redesign. The city has done a great job with the dog park. Rather than just having an open area for the dogs to run around in, there are multiple short fenced-in trails that wind around the open play area. That means that your dog(s), and you, can walk around and explore versus just standing in the main area. I would like it better if there was a source for providing water to the dogs and trash cans outside for dropping poop bags. See more..
  28. 4.0 Joy Spa (1 review)
    - Calm, clean & reasonably priced
    Monday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Spas
I go to joy massage for last 3 years at least once a month! I have tried all type of massages they offer and I think #2 that is half an hour foot/half back massage is the best. Not everyone is great but you can always make an appointment and request for yr favorite therapist. Also the business opens 7 days a week 10 to 10 and most therapist speak basic English! See more..
