Welcoming is the energy one receives when visiting this site. Beautifully manicured fish tanks with very lively fish in them. Staff ready to assist you and over all a nice place to visit. Check their schedule as they are only open four hours in the afternoon. Great place to visit with family and kids. I suggest you visit and give yourself at least 2 hour to read all the information. Nice meandering walk through mangroves, with some water views along the way. Parked at Jupiter Ridge Natural area (free) on US 1 and walked the red trail to connect to the Riverwalk. Nice, easy walk, paved once you arrive at the Riverwalk. FYI for those not familiar - there are no shops or eateries along that part from Jupiter Ridge to Jupiter Yacht club. Beautiful footbridge over the water leading into Jupiter Yacht club takes you toward the part that has dining options as well as Harborside just past that. Walkers, joggers and bicycles along the route. Plenty of benches to sit along the way and a couple of water fountains. See more..

What a great place to kayak! The Loxahatchee River is beautiful. The water was very calm during our 2 hours of kayaking. We saw 3 alligators, many turtles and several water fowl. The attendant that set us up was super helpful and very friendly. I definitely recommend this experience if you are in the Jupiter area! See more..

It's also a great spot for scenic picnics with s view of the light house and a local Jupiter history lesson as it's the site of the cities first school house and then becoming a train station.
