Great kayaking

What a great place to kayak! The Loxahatchee River is beautiful. The water was very calm during our 2 hours of kayaking. We saw 3 alligators, many turtles and several water fowl. The attendant that set us up was super helpful and very friendly. I definitely recommend this experience if you are in the Jupiter area!

In the same park as Riverbend Park
They have historic speakers tell about the battlefield on the weekends and sometimes have reenactments where they fire a canon off! Check the schedule. Rent canoes in Riverbend Park to go down the scenic Loxahatchee River. You can canoe all the way to Jonathan Dickinson State Park. You will see turtles and could see alligators too! Bring your bikes to ride the miles of hard packed dirt trails or go for a hike. You will probably see white tailed deer, turkeys, sandhill cranes, osprey and peacocks if you come early or later in the day. This is what "real" Florida looks like. (except for the peacocks!)

    The Real Florida !!
What a great park and a real piece of history. Take a stroll or better yet pack your bike for the miles of paths in the park. There are a multitude of small to large tiki huts complete with picnic tables and grills for a fun family outing or a large celebration. Check out the wild white tail deer , turkeys, sand hill cranes, and the flocks of peacocks! rent a canoe from COF in the park for a half day expedition down the pristine Loxahachee and the return bus ride back to the park. A Must See !!!
