What a wonderful experience. we visited with friends and received a complete tour of the farm, enough so that we could understand the philosophy behind the farming and the wine making. Of course, the wine we tasted was exceptional and the stories behind the wine even more compelling. This was a tremendous destination and we heartily recommend a visit (and of course the wines)! Established in 1983 with a tip-off from the French that this piece of property would excel in growing fine Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, the Pfeiffer's transformed their chicken and sheep farm into a vineyard. Located in Oregon’s prime south Willamette Valley, our ultra premium, sustainable 70- acre vineyard is one of the oldest vineyards in the state with a reputation for producing world class Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Our tasting room is a candle-lit cave offering a personal, one-on-one wine tasting experience, including our famous Pinot Clinic held in the grotto with owners, Robin and Danuta Pfeiffer. Our exquisite, small lot productions are only available through our tasting room and wine club, and are not distributed to stores or restaurants. This year we celebrate 35 years - one of the oldest vineyards in the South Willamette Valley. Our region was recognized as the 2016 Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine! See more..
