- 5.0 Black Bear Mountain (13 reviews)
-Great hike, but not for young children
Mountains • Hiking Trails
This trail is easy to follow, clearly marked, and maintained by a volunteer trail crew. It shares its parking area with Rocky Mt, but this is a longer hike: plan for half a day (or more) & take a picnic lunch to enjoy when you get on top. I would not recommend this hike for a family with small children, although kids 5-10 and older can do it... small children will tire quickly and you will be carrying them the rest of the way. There is more than one way to get to the top (a branch trail circles the base and comes in from the back) but the main trail, from Rte 28, is the best & most visibly marked trail to follow. It's steep when you get near the top, so supervise younger children! Nice views in several directions, lots of open rock on top to sit and picnic. You can see see several lakes of the Fulton Chain, as well as the Inlet Golf Course... and if you walk along the top and look from the other side, you can see Blue Mt on a good day. See more..
- 5.0 Mountain And Main (2 reviews)
-Authentic Adirondack Charm
Speciality & Gift Shops
I found Mountain and Main as a suggested page on social media and knew it was a must for our recent trip. The store is so quaint, cozy, and filled with authentic and unique arts and gifts from Adirondack artists and businesses. I was welcomed with a friendly and warm hello from the owner, Shana. The store was so creatively and warmly laid out. Every item displayed with purpose to catch your eye. I found beautiful hand crafted arts, home décor, and high quality jewelry, candles, woodworking items and gifts. Everything had a rustic and mountain feel. I recognized items from local artists including Adirondack Peach and many locally and made in the USA gifts. Tasteful and high quality items to take home as a memento of your time in the ADK's. I look forward to a return visit. See more..
- 4.5 Arrowhead Park (53 reviews)
-Perfect Little ADK Park
Parks
Everytime I pass through Inlet, Arrowhead Park is a must. There’s a spacious parking lot (it’s the perfect place to park when you’re trying to walk around downtown), clean public restrooms, a ball field, tennis courts, tons of benches and a pretty pathway winding down along their beach and back up through the park- not to mention the gorgeous view of the lake. Downtown has great places to pick up snacks and coffee which are perfect to grab and go for sitting and enjoying in the park. Also, for anyone concerned with wifi- the signal here is the best in town! I have AT&T and once I left Inlet, there was no service again until Blue Mountain Lake, hope that helps! See more..

- 4.5 Inlet Golf Club (8 reviews)
-Great food, great view, dog friendly & great service
Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Pleasant surprise - great food, great view, dog friendly & great service. A truly great find ! We were headed to Inlet for plant shopping at Zone3 Nursery across the street for our camp & discovered the Inlet Golf Course restaurant. Still pandemic nervous we had been turned off by the heavy people & car traffic in downtown Inlet & were looking for something outside the hubbub & chose the Golf club restaurant for its quieter atmosphere & outdoor dining, especially because we had our puppy with us. The wait staff were very attentive, sooo nice & accommodating about the dog, the view was really lovely & my hamburger was unusually good & grilled to notably tasty perfection. The fried onion curls were also a treat. We shall return. See more..
