I was here when they first unveiled the roundabout and it was a fun community event. The waterfall has a sculpture in the middle with two eagles soaring around their nest with chicks in it and a mountain lion too. Brought my daughters for the mermaid show on Saturdays. you can meet the mermaids around noon prior to the show, there is no additional fees to watch the show. It takes place in their shark tank! Yes they are swimming with sharks! The building has a nice lobby area with large public restrooms and a snack bar when events are happening. The hockey arena has bleachers to watch games. There are heaters above you that help keep you warm but it's a good idea to dress warm and bring a blanket to sit on. You can check the Idaho Falls Parks and Rec page for public skate and lesson times. They rent skates for use inside or on the outdoor rink. They have some laser skate events, skate with Santa and ice shows put on by local skaters. In the summer the building is used for many events and they can open the doors to the park area behind it.
