It has been my mission of late to explore local sites/buildings etc. You know these are the ones we all just become so familiar with we just drive by and don't give it a second thought. There are truly little gems everywhere. My visit was very good here. The building itself is gorgeous inside. There is a lot of wood and paneling and an upstairs with a high ceiling that lets a lot of light in. To be fair they were in the midst of setting up an art show so things were a bit displaced but I would go again another time. One item that was impressive to me is the old dugout canoe found in a local lake when the water level was low. I also found a grandfather clock built by my 7th great grandfather. Cool! Be aware they are only opened Thurs,Fri and Sat. See more..
