One of my favorite places around town-- great selection of good beer, and a wonderful atmosphere. Games are on during game seasons, there are board games, food carts most Fridays, and lots of events throughout the month. Bring a coat in the winter, and dress for the weather in the summertime. This was our second visit and once again we were very happy. The Roloffs had to contend with the pandemic and in both mine and my families opinion they did an excellent job. Of course there was less to do due to social distancing but they offered value for the price which was decreased, of course, because of limited options and in our opinion very reasonable. The family is very amicable and though we don’t watch the show we, as most people, are familiar with and despite this the Roloffs are very welcoming and gracious. We chatted a bit with Matt Roloff and felt more like guests than customers. We will continue to go and strongly recommend it. See more..

Hillsboro puts on some great markets. Saturday and Tuesday Night in Downtown and the Sunday Market at Orenco Station. They are all just a little different as far as goods available and entertainment. We really enjoy community events as a way to connect with people and getting to sample local flavors makes it perfect. We had a nice time at the Orenco one. It is set in the parking lot of the shops which were also open for business. It is just off Cornell Road and near the MAX. If you dont already know, the local produce in the region is excellent, famous for berries of course. You can get fruits and veggies that were literally picked the day before. There were lots of interesting crafts, jewelry, fresh flowers and some eduacational booths and things for kids. We had some delicious kettle corn as we sat and listened to the musicians. We took some local wine, cheese and flowers back to our suite at Orenco Manor. See more..

I've been with my husband and with friends and had a fabulous time. My husband and I went to pick lavender and the selection is fantastic. With french and english lavender and culinary varieties they had exactly what we wanted. My friends and I brought a picnic basket of wine and snacks and sat near the upper fields enjoying the company while taking in the scenery. The staff is friendly and the price is right. They don't charge for this museum--it is a private collection, so it is hard to review it as a business--that charges. They are offering it to the public for free, so I can't fault anything they do. In fact, even if it were a business, I think it i would be awesome. The selection of planes is great. The gentleman there can tell you all about them and the whens and hows about every piece.
