Ranches

We took our 3 teens on a road trip around Colorado for Spring Break and hands down this was the one highlight that everyone unanimously loved. Who doesn't love fuzzy, cute, colorful, curious alpacas? We actually did not know much about alpacas, and the owner of the ranch was exceedingly gracious, answering all of our questions, showing us around all the pens, sharing stories, and best of all letting us mingle with the babies! The alpacas all have their own personalities and funny names. This is a must-do if you are in the area (we were also visiting Mesa Verde), perfect outdoor activity for those cautious during times of covid. The ranch looks impeccably maintained and the animals look very well taken care of and content. What a gorgeous mountainous backdrop too!
