In 1916, The Bijou Theater was a quaint, 250 seat theater featuring nightly vaudeville acts, comedy plays, orchestras and silent movies. One hundred years later, the building houses Crazy Woman Trading Post and Salon Bijou. The restored silent movie posters, silent movies playing on the wall, the newspaper floor, building history, interior charm and shopping make it worth the stop! See more..

This was so cool - we were so glad we stopped. Head out on Red Gulch/ Alkali Backcountry Highway for 5 miles. It is gravel but was an easy drive and was maintained up to the Track site. (Signs do warn you though, if you plan on traveling past the tracksite that you will need a high clearance vehicle). The scenery on the way to the tracksite is amazing - just beautiful. We were surprised when we got there - nice walk-ways, many interpretive signs and well maintained. You can go right down and see the tracks & stepped where they stepped. It is fun trying to find them all, and the kids loved this. It does get quite hot (98 degrees late afternoon when we were there) and wished we would have done this in the morning or evening when it was cooler. See more..

The Bighorn Basin GeoScience Center is dedicated to the study of the Basin’s natural resources and to the promotion of geoscience and local historical and educational activities. We offer exhibits and educational materials for educators, geoscientists, tourists and the people of Wyoming. The Big Horn Basin Geoscience Center recently opened the Museum of Ancient Life in downtown Greybull to house and display some of our fossils and reproductions in the context of the environment that was prevalent in the time frame the animals existed. The museum features a 40 foot mural depicting the landscape, flora, and fauna of the Bighorn Basin of Wyoming as we understand it was about 150 million years ago. Stop by to enjoy our displays and learn more about the geological and paleontological history of our area. See more..

Don't let Duane Powers catch you snooping around un-authorized territory here..lol He will make sure you are a bonafied customer. This place has a fascinating history that defies being captured in a box this size. Suffice it to say that there are many many types of older aircraft here. World War II vintage planes. Canadian boxcars, Neptunes, PB4Y's, KC97's, C130's .. well you get the idea. The planes have been used in aerial firefighting on government contracts with the U.S. Forest Service and Office of Aircraft Services in Boise Idaho for years and years. Stop and see it for yourself. A plethora of information is available for the asking. t See more..
