We always find the bookstore when exploring. It always makes the day a little better. This is the kind of bookstore I like. Lots of diverse selections with not a blatant agenda to the books they want to sell. My favorite was a little hidden spot by the travel section to sit down and read a bit of the books you're interested in. The lady working the counter is friendly and knowledgeable. These were the words spoken by General Putnam at the battle of Bunker/Breeds Hill on June 17, 1775. A farmer/landowner who became a Patriot General during the American Revolution was a true American Hero. There he held the wall against some of the best troops that the British sent at him and his men. He entertained General Washington at this cottage for lunch. He also escaped a British attack at this location and there is a sign which explains this at the boundary on Post Road. The seats at this older theater were comfortable, spacious and flexiible. We sat in Theater 1. The staff was friendly. We bought our tickets at the concession stand which seemed to be the new policy. This preserve is close to Riverside where my son lives. . We were at the beautiful and well maintained Bartlett Gardens trail the day before . This one is nice but not as well maintained , a bit rougher , definitely need good hiking shoes. . Be sure to know your direction ( need your sixth sense ). If you first time hiking in this area, I recommend try the Bartlett Trail first . See more..

I was walking through Greenwich to a different salon I had seen on yelp. I couldn’t find it and was about to give up, but I saw Dream and went in to see if they had an opening. They randomly did, usually they don’t take walk ins. The woman I spoke to at the front desk was so friendlu, I had my eyebrows waxed and my pedicure done by Pina. I can’t even tell you what an ammmmmazing job she did. I’ve never had anyone who was that gentle, talented, and amazingly sweet. My eyebrows are the best they have ever been. She also did a wonderful pedicure and the whole time she put me at ease and in general made the experience perfect, and now I can say that Dream Salon is my new go to. See more..
