   An amazingly accurate sundial is located right next to the parking lot that will tell clock time. The Sunquest Sundial was designed by Richard L. Schmoyer in the 1950s and was featured in the October 1959 issue of Scientific American. It is great to be able to get this close to the sundial and to use it to set your watch. See more..

   Secluded park off Rt. 82 north of Greenville. Medium sized parking lot that was only partly full on a Sunday afternoon. A walk from the parking lot goes into woods then onto an overlook into the valley. Steep steps go down to a gorgeous setting. Plenty of benches along a small meandering creek amidst large lawn areas. Extremely well maintained. The trees are very large indicating that the park has been there a long time. One of the trees appeared to be a California redwood. Most of the visitors were strolling couples or they were just sitting enjoying the view. Lots of dog walkers, I would give it a 6 star if I could. See more..
