I couldn't get enough of the groves. It stormed our entire stay, but I had to keep jumping out of the truck to take photos. While there are maps of drives, we just kept taking back roads to different destinations and would come upon them. One of our favorite groves were the plum trees (pink trees in photos) next to Bari Olive Oil in Dinuba (go tasting while you're there). Another one we just happened to see was in Fresno on South Maple Ave, just south of East Central (white trees in photos). See more..

My trip to Fresno was a wash out. Rain every day. The Old Town Clovis Farmers Market closed, but the Vineyard Farmers Market is rain or shine. Since we were staying in our RV, we decided to pick up something to cook up. While it was obvious that some vendors decided not to come due to the rain, those that did were quite busy. Thankfully Roots Farms was there and we were able to get a Pork sirloin and jowl bacon ($25). We also grabbed some fresh cauliflower crowns and radishes. And because we were surrounded by the beauty of the blooming almond trees, we had to grab some organic almonds. See more..

Storyland is so cute. If you are expecting Disneyland, don't go. It is small and you can do the entire park in about 4 hours if the lines are not long. They have older kiddie rides and figures of dinosaurs that are just adorable. The prices are reasonable and parking is easy. It has been refreshed, but still an older type park with typical fair type rides. But is is fun, your kids (3-8) will love it. If you are in town go there. You will like it. See more..
