    This is a lovely museum in a very nice setting near the Indian River. The history of AE Backus and The Florida Highwaymen is a great story and the art is even better. If you have time, head up to Downtown Vero Beach and stop by Roy McLendon’s studio. A one-on-one with one of the last surviving highwaymen is pretty special. See more..

    Beautiful new dressing/bathroom areas. The entrance had great paved parking lots. It also had a plastic wood type planking (no splinters) with ramps and gazebos, and a life guard station. It was very quiet and not at all crowded on a Saturday. See more..
