   We were doing some leaf peeping in New Jersey, and found this spot by chance. What luck! The weather was perfect -- a day after rain -- and the sky was a brilliant blue. The trees were beautiful shades of orange, red, and yellow, and the view under the GW Bridge toward the NYC Skyline was simply magical.    My son saw this museum on the show Mysteries at the Museum. Since he attends a Tech High School and his shop is Entertainment Technologies this was right up his alley. It is a small museum filled with tons of history and if you're lucky enough to visit when Tom is there than you're lucky enough. He is very knowledgeable and told us many interesting stories.    Wonderful park with some of the est views of the George Washington BRidge you can see. There is a small museum there which is free but accept donations. Lots of interesting small exhibits there about the historic park. That museum is now closed due to COVID but will open again in time. The grounds itself are also nice with sme nice trails and even some cannons. There was also a flat fee at the front entracne years ago but that has been changed over to paying at a muni meter once you park. As there are very few muni meters and lots of spaces, you may find yourself waiting on a long line to pay during peak days and times. You can exit the park and ake a short walk right onto the GWB walk/bike pathway which is a great experience. It does get windy up there so stay warm. See more..

    We went twice already. 1st time it was my hubby, me and my 14 years old son. We went to the historical kidnapping one and it was a blast! The intro was mega cool and the quest was pretty educational too. Few other people were there also for the same time slot (6PM Wednesday) and it was interesting to work as a team, learn from each other and mingle. We even exchanged phones with another family who was there as we went to the pizza place on the same plaza afterwards and chatted. We loved it so mush that 2nd time we booked the fantasy one for a party. It was kinda belated birthday / family get-together event. My son't idea was that aunt and grandma (!) would the place too. To my surprise they all enjoyed it and we even escaped in 56 minutes! Now I wish someone else buys franchise from them (there is an offer on their website) and give me the address.
