Joe and his team of Angling Experts know how to really are the best. I have fished with Montana Trout Stalkers on many occasions over the past 15 years and there is no better guide service is SW Montana. They go out of there way to deliver an outstanding experience for everyone involved. Whether I had my 75 yr old mother with me or one of my many young children, MTS made sure we were taken care of in a professional and enjoyable way. I highly recommend this Guide Service. See more..
  2. 5.0 Madison River Fishing Company (8 reviews)
    - Fly fishing passion
    Fishing Charters & Tours
    Madison River Fishing Company image
Like this shop so much and such an incredible selection that I’m buying on line from them as a Minnesota resident for my saltwater fishing needs in Florida. Ha! Plus if you have not been to Ennis Mt and enjoy fly fishing you have to go. I saw as many drift boats as cars. I fished Jackson Hole WY 3 hours south and was Epic, but flying into Bozeman and driving to Ennis an hour south is a better option. You can see Ennis is a fly fishing epicenter and stop in the shop you will not be disappointed! See more..

    Hooked Outfitting image
I have fished with Hooked Outfitting & Capt. Garrett every spring for the last 5 years, and every time I have a great experience. The guides are patient, thorough and effective teachers for those (like me) who still have a lot to learn. They are knowledgeable about where and what the fish are biting and put us on them! The shore lunches are always outstanding, and the guides provide great company. I'll continue to use Hooked Outfitting for many years to come and I highly recommend them! See more..

We were traveling during the pandemic and were looking for picnic foods instead of going to restaurants. This store was a somewhat hidden gem on our two week trip! See more..
  7. 4.5 Willies Distillery (96 reviews)
    - A very unique distillery.
    Saturday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Distilleries
    Willies Distillery image
First visit here and it won't be the last. This is a distillery where they make some great whiskey and bourbon. My wife seared by their Huckleberry Sweet Cream Liquor. I much like their Big Horn Bourbon. My wife bought me this cute little disk that you put in the freezer and add it to your drink instead of ice. Now I won't be diluting my drink with ice. Pretty hard to find their products outside Montana and Wyoming. I have seen their coffee liquor in Utah though. They also make a chokecherry liquor that is vodka based. Not bad. So the place is very small two tables to stand at, no food just liquor and that is great. It was a nice visit and we are looking forward to going back. Prices are a little cheaper at the distillery that a liquor store. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They don't try to up sale you. So when in Ennis MT. Drop in and have a wee bit. See more..

    - Unique Life Experience!
    Hiking Trails
Spirit of the North Sled Dog Adventures image
Highly recommended experience for folks wanting to create some unique, lifelong memories with friends and family. All the guides were very welcoming and the guide for our sled, Dalton, was a class act. He was well informed and pleasant to chat with, I learned a lot within the couple hours we spent together. The scenery is beautiful and the trail was well maintained. Plus, at the halfway point, you have a quick break with homemade cookies and hot chocolate! The dogs are world class sled dogs in retirement from running the Iditarod for the most part, and for the more adventurous types, you can absolutely pilot the sleds. Be sure to book well in advance (months), we lucked into a last minute reservation due to a cancellation. See more..

The Tackle Shop - Fly Shop and Outfitter image
We are a mid-sixties couple who went on a half-day trip with guide James Terry last week. We don't usually hire guides, partially because I was a professional whitewater guide for many years. James was gracious, professional and was able to quickly meet us where we're at with our fishing skills. We learned a lot and caught a bunch of fish. Our expectations were exceeded and we highly recommend James. We'll be back for another trip next year! See more..

    Madison Valley History Museum image
This is a great stop for the family. The Living History Museum was a very pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the history of the area by walking through this little town that was recreated to reflect the way of life in the old west. Just about all the staff there are volunteers dressed in time period clothes, in character, and sharing historic information. We learned a lot and loved watching the staff go about their chores and jobs of the Old West. There were presentations on wheel making, blacksmith, tin maker, and basket weaving. I would highly recommend taking time to visit the museum. All proceeds and donations go to the preservation of the living history. See more..
