  1. 5.0 H&H Electronics (1 review)
    - Superb Creativity

An unexpected treat. We stopped in H&H for a car booster antenna BUT to our surprise there is a showroom full of the most incredible Welding Art we have ever seen....all from scrap. Randy the artist was there also so he explained the time, types of materials used and stories behind his creations. We stayed over an hour enjoying his art. Indian figures, Indian heads, horses, lamps, motorcycles, religious pieces, abstracts and the list goes on. In the Elk City library he has a commissioned piece that is awesome. In the Catholic Church he created a huge beautiful cross. Take the time to view his art, you won’t be sorry! The town has several interesting places to visit. It’s a gem on Route 66. See more..

This museum was astonishing. It was one of the most well done museums we have ever been too. The American memorabilia is displayed so well. The displays are amazing and so interesting. We came because we’re on a Route 66 adventure and it did not disappoint in that area but had so much more. This is a must see museum for any driving through Oklahoma on Route 66 and honestly I would recommend it anyone on Route 66 or otherwise. See more..
  3. 4.5 Old Town Museum (70 reviews)
    - Fun for history buffs
    Spent 2-3 hours Speciality Museums

The combination of museums here makes for a nice stop. One admission fee pays to visit all but there's nothing stopping you from wandering around Old Town. In fact, we accidentally did that first because there's a lack of signage to see go to this specific part and pay before you wander around. Despite not being able to go inside the buildings of Old Town, (mostly just peer through windows), I really liked it. Though I was only part-way through a Route 66 trip, it felt like the town represented the entire trip, even though that's not what it's supposed to be. It just felt symbolic and fitting. The portion specifically devoted to Route 66 is fun too and offers a couple of scenes to imagine different eras and stops. (I marked travelled as solo because there's no family option w/o children. Some of us drive around our senior parents. That's family last time I checked.) See more..

The play Honkeytonk Angels was the last show that my wife and I enjoyed at the Red carpet theater in Elk City Oklahoma. This community theater is a well appointed little theater that has done more and more to help the performing arts in this town there have been so very many excellent Broadway type shows that have been done with the utmost professional results. Over the many years that I have lived in the town of Elk City I have enjoyed many Broadway type shows at the Red Carpet theater. I would highly recommend if you are in the Elk City area, catch one of the shows there. D.J.Julian See more..
