Nature Conservancy and the Rhode Island Dept. of Environmental Mgt are creating a fish reef a few hundred feet off the Fishing Pier at Sabin Point Park in the Riverside district of East Providence. It’s very close to the East Bay Bike Path from Providence to Bristol RI if your in a bicycle. Also easily reached by car from Rte 195E via the scenic Veterans Memorial Parkway south to Pawtucket Ave then south to Shore Road where the fire station is located. A right turn on Shore Road. and a short drive and your at Sabin Point. A beautiful long sandy beach front extends south to Crescent Park point and the historic Looff Carousel. Children will love it! The water is crystal clear and Blue fish, oysters and blue crabs abound! When the new Reef is completed, so will tautog, Black Sea bass and scup!! So great to see this area restored to its formerly pristine appearance. The beach is scheduled to re-open as a recreational swimming area in two years! In the meantime it’s a great place to take a walk and beachcomb. Or if it’s warm weather, stretch out on a beach blanket and enjoy the view. Don’t miss it! See more..

Came for my daughters 12th birthday with a couple of her friends. Check in and waiver signing is easy and done on a computer. There are 3 stations so you don't have to wait too long. The staff are friendly and they seem to have things well organized considering how chaotic is might seem with tons of kids jumping around everywhere!! They have a spot where you sit to put on your sky zone socks while a staff member goes over the rules. Kids had loads of fun...would definitely come back again. See more..

January, 2020 I had really wanted to see a movie that had been released in November, but never got to see it and now found it was in very very few theaters - so took the trip (45-60 minutes or so) I was NOT disappointed Plenty of easy parking The theater is "oldish" - but the lobby was fine The actual movie theater was on the small size - could use some repairs - but - the seats were comfortable enough for a 2 hour movie (nothing fancy) plus the screen size was good for the room size and the PRICE $3 !!!!! yes - $3.00 dollars and Tuesday's are $2 So I will go back and recommend it !! I've been here several times. Great music, staff, atmosphere, the view, pricing and down to earth crowd. It has indoor and outdoor seating. It dissent serve good however does grill hamburgers and hotdogs. It also has a great space for events. Did I mention how great of a staff, tend to every need and fast!!
