    Knox Farm State Park image
I was visiting EA and staying at a place that was across the street from Knox Park. I took advantage of my location and the nice weather and took some long walks through the park at different times of the day, on different days of the week, and always found it enjoyable. The dog park section is usually the busiest area but there are many different tree-lined paved paths, gravel/dirt paths leading into wooded areas, or paths taking you next to ponds if you'd like find some peace and quiet. Really a nice place for an evening stroll, the locals are lucky to have such a place to unwind and visitors are lucky once they find out about it and venture into the park to sit on a bench, stretch out under a tree, or choose a path and go for a walk/run/bike ride. we STARTED our Red Hat adventure day, by first going to the East Aurora Auction and Expo Center, and it was such fun. we STARTED by going into the warm & cozy building and were greeted by two friendly gals. we all purchased "stuff" and there was even a wine tasting booth. some of the inside booths were not open, but we had plenty of pretty things to see & buy. we then went outside, as there were some vendors selling their wares. however, it was a tad brisk out there, so we only checked out a little bit. but, we plan on returning in the summer and doing it all. can't wait. we then continued on to Vidler's and then to Mickey Dee's Cafe. honestly, it was a day full of PURE FUN.
