   Gray Chapman is both a Licensed Massage Therapist and an herbalist and the combination is wonderful. She greeted me with a cup of tea while I filled out her paperwork, and she uses her own oil and herb concoctions, which she heats. She also soaks cloths in the heated oil/herb mix and lays them on you, while you lie on a heated table. (She can turn it off for those who don't like the heat.)    This is a charming visitor center right on the river that has plenty of scenic picnic spots, a nice little museum and a souvenir shop. Lady at the visitor center was very friendly and helpful. Restrooms were dated, but clean. It was nice to walk down to the river and take a break from driving. If you need to stop on your drive through Colorado on I-70, this would be the place.    My wife and I stumbled on this place, while we were picking a few things up in town, on our last camping/fishing excursion. We had been thinking about giving fly fishing a shot as something we can both learn together. Fortunately, we ran into Bob. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. When he realized that they were complete novices, he asked if we would like to step out front for a fly fishing "workshop." We jumped at the chance! We learned proper casting form with a splash of more advanced techniques. He offered great prices on his rods, but when l told him that we had just picked one up from somewhere else, there were absolutely no high pressure sales. Instead, he totally hooked us up, taught us how to tie all of our knots, and when they were just too crazy, did them for us. We WILL be back. If you have the slightest interest in fly fishing...    Colorado bike service helped us out when we were on the road to Moab - discovered loose bolts in suspension linkage on one of the bikes - after calling them we we pulled in at Eagle - bike off the car and repairs made in 20 mins - perfect. Honest hard working & helpful people. Great to have shops like this around instead of dumb corporate entities whose staff have no expertise or passion for their work. Would recommend Colorado Bike Service to anyone who needs help with bike maintenance and/or recommendations on purchases - they carry an impressive stock of the latest bikes. See more..
