  1. 5.0 Raft One (2.556 reviews)
    - Fun with Raft One and Junior!
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Water Sports
    Raft One image
Raft One was one of the best whitewater rafting experiences we’ve taken and we’ve been on many. It started with an excellent safety presentation that was funny and entertaining enough to keep everyone engaged and continued with the easiest and most time efficient load out of equipment and rafts and then onto the buses for the short ride to the Middle Ocoee. Junior was an outstanding guide who figured out quickly that we wanted adventure and we’re willing to take a few risks for the big payoff. In other words he pushed our group right to the edge for two and a half thrilling hours and finished us off with a expertly executed boat flip that left us all smiling and cheering. Importantly he took charge of the boat and made sure everyone was safe even when we wanted a little more. He was the consummate pro and clearly loved his job on the Ocoee. Junior is the kind of guide that brings you back and we will be back for another exciting day of fun with Raft One. See more..

We loved the Ocoee combo that we did this weekend with 9 friends. We were split into two rafts with strangers, but I think if we had 10, we would have been able to split into 2 rafts without strangers. Loved our guide Ryan and he made sure we had a great time! We were kinda bummed that the cameras malfunction when we had some pretty epic pics at the Olympic section, but other than that all pics turned out great! Highly recommend doing the combo and not just one portion of the Ocoee- it would be too short just do to one! See more..
  4. 5.0 Carolina Ocoee (254 reviews)
    - Awesome trip!! Ask for Megan!!!
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 AM River Rafting & Tubing
    Carolina Ocoee image
Such an awesome trip!! If you are looking for quality, friendliness and a safe wild ride, you cant beat Carolina Ocoee. Our guide was Megan and we HIGHLY recommend her as your guide. She made our trip super fun and knew just how to tackle the rapids so that you definitely get soaked. Very knowledgeable and experienced guide! Here's a few tips we picked up: *If you want to get super soaked and have front action, ride in the front * If you want to stay dry(er) sit nearer to the back *Work together with paddling...watch the person next to you and make sure you are both rowing on her count. *Definitely take advantage of the swimming area during the trip, it cools you off and is just super relaxing to just float on your back downstream. *whoever your guide is, if you really want to get soaked, ask them if they can "surf" the boat...its really fun! Overall, would definitely go with them again!! See more..

Highly recommend for all! Our family of 6 had an incredible time - "kids" ranging in age from 11 to 20. Our guides, Mike and CJ, were awesome and had us laughing the entire trip. They were both informative, patient and considerate with every person in the larger group and knew every one of us by name. They were even very thoughtful and proactive in making sure I was best positioned on the platforms to get pics of my kids coming into the landings. See more..

    Ducktown Basin Museum image
The Ducktown Basin Museum is located on the historic mine site, which was the headquarters for Tennessee Copper Company and Cities Service mining operations from 1899 through 1975. An audiovisual presentation provides a brief historical introduction to the museum and its collection, which includes artifacts, photographs and displays depicting the industrial and cultural heritage of this former mining community. Larger artifacts are displayed on the grounds just outside the museum office. See more..
  7. 4.0 Thunder Rock Recreation Area (20 reviews)
    - Campground, TANASI trails
Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks
    Thunder Rock Recreation Area image
Campground is small but right on the Ocoee river. Stayed three nights tent camping. Loved the sound of the river at night. Several vault toilets and then a main bath house with showers near the camp entrance. $12/night, near the white water center, lots of trails for biking and hiking (TANASI trail system). I recommend going to ducktown/Mccaysville for food, it's a shorter drive then heading West toward Chattanooga. We biked the copper road trail, the rhodendron and some of the bear paw loop. Would go back again. There is also free parking for those who use the trails.. See more..
