I wanted to try an early spring fishing trip before the summer crowds showed up. We booked two days of fishing on April 18th and 19th. The weather was horrid. Wind, rain, cold, etc. However, our guide Nate Burr was terrific. He rowed his butt off and put us on a lot of large Rainbows and Browns. He was patient, funny, and very safe in some tricky conditions. My buddy and I enjoyed the two days very much and will come back again and again. See more..

This was our first time doing something like this and it by far exceeded our expectations. Our original date was rescheduled due to weather and we couldn't have been happier about it. We did an 8am flight and it was clear and beautiful. Ben, our pilot, was awesome. He gave us points of interest to look at as well as info about the area and the parks. He was super down to earth and friendly. As for the sights.....I can not put into words the pure beauty we saw. It was unbelievable and truly breathtaking. We are hooked now! Deb and Kevin were terrific. Really genuine people who provided an excellent family experience. One aspect of their business that I was especially appreciative of was their willingness to take my son, who is a very confident little 7 year old. I wanted him to have the experience of riding a horse in the county as I did when I was young and visiting the Tetons; Kevin quite honestly could not have been a better person for the task. He has a terrific combination of personality and patience. I also appreciated that when we got to our lunch spot he had three trained black bears in a tree waiting (just kidding, of course) - but the coincidence was uncanny. I loved that we still got off our horses and enjoyed lunch in that same spot despite the bears. My 7 year old quietly pulled out his swiss army knife in case he had to defend us. Such a hilarious and memorable moment. Thank you so much Deb and Kevin. I wish you both well. See more..

Our experience with Margaret and her crew at Elevated Ballooning was WAY better than five stars! It was, by far, the highlight of our trip! It was fascinating to have the balloon to ourselves (just me and my husband.) Margaret explained a lot of what was happening and we were super interested. She is a MASTER at reading the local wind conditions, and adjusting her altitude to get the desired results. At one paint, we were zooming over fields, but later we came to a dead stop when it was time to land. Amazing! We can't recommend Elevated Ballooning enough. (Ballooning is not cheap, but totally worth the splurge.) BTW, it was smoky the day of our ride, but the view was almost incidental to the process. We loved it! See more..

Kevin was an outstanding balloon pilot and would highly recommend him and his crew for a flight along the Tetons. Take off and landing were smooth as butter. We lucked out with the weather being nice in May and didn't have to reschedule or anything, so we were able to fly on our anticipated date. He is very experienced and provided a lovely breakfast (homemade!!) once we landed and told us wonderful history and stories about ballooning along the way. Fly with this company! See more..

I've been coming over from Jackson, to play here the last couple of weeks. The golf course is challenging and very well maintained. The views are the best of any course in the valley, and the rates are very affordable. $25 after 1 o'clock for 18 and a cart. The address on the scorecard is 127 north 4000 west and the phone number is 208-456-2777. This place is a real diamond in the rough. If you can't afford to play the private courses or are just looking to have some fun, with great views I would highly recommend this place. See more..

The best part of our trip was by far our back country ride with Leigh Creek Outfitters! Derek was a wonderful guide and took us through the most beautiful mountain locations. They were super friendly and professional and made our day trip like something straight out of a fairy tale. I can’t recommend them enough! We decided to go the Spud Drive In on our last night in the Teton Valley. They were hosting a film festival and it seemed like a great opportunity to do something very unique to Driggs. Even in the midst of a pandemic it is still possible to find joy, laughter and wholesome family fun. There were license plates from all over the US, happy families in adventure vans, children in fleece jammies and cowboy boots and a sky full of stars. Matt from Teton valley adventure showed us an amazing time at Yellowstone national park. His patience with the equipment and people not familiar with how to use the equipment was awesome. He displayed great knowledge of the area. He took us for an incredible and exhilarating snowmobile tour through all the popular spots in the park. The snow machines were in great shape and ran excellent. They outfitted us with nice warm boots and snowmobile suits.. I do recommend good warm gloves and a baclava or headsock with a good neck piece to keep the cold out. We did a total of 60+ miles. We chose to drive separately in our personal vehicle because it is nearly a 100 mile drive from Driggs to the West entrance of Yellowstone. I highly recommend the Teton Valley Adventure group if you are looking for a great outdoor experience. See more..

Rented 4 sets of ski equipment for a trip to Driggs...the personnel were EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. Provided us some helpful tips about the mountain. On our last day when 2 of the 4 of us couldn't ski (sick and injury), if we returned the equipment prior to 10 AM they FULLY refunded the rental for that day. I consider this going above and beyond. My Uncle and I went to TRR for information and a day fishing license. Hank was behind the counter and appeared to be frazzled due to computer issues. There was a few people ahead of us so we browsed and ask questions of one of the guides. Hank recovered as if nothing had happened and helped with licensing. Both were extremely helpful with recommended flies, location to fish and generally likable attitudes to help. The shop is well stocked and Orvis endorsed. Highly recommend this fly shop! See more..
