- 5.0 Timber Creek Cross Country Ski Area (9 reviews)
-Absolutely perfect
Thursday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Spent 2-3 hours Cross-country Ski Areas
I will not be able to do Timber Creek justice in my review. The owner, Kelly, takes great pride in Timber Creek and it shows. I took a cross country ski lesson with Joy. There was another woman in the lesson, we were both at different places, but this did not phase Joy. She was easily able to effectively direct us both and provided an excellent lesson. The trails were well groomed and both the cross country ski and the snow shoe trails are checked throughout the day for debris on the trails and to make sure everyone is okay. Kelly, Joy, and another worker (I think her name was Melanie) were all super nice, knowledgeable, and directed me well in terms of where to snow shoe and answered questions about cross county skiing (I’m a novice). The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The firepit was running all day and Kelly was constantly ensuring it was going strong. See more..
- 4.5 Green Mountain Adventure Challenge (147 reviews)
-When they say challenge, they mean it!
Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
My friend and I have participated in the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge for the past six years, and we LOVE it! The puzzles are difficult and the hikes are interesting. There's always a bit of local history woven into the game as well. There is definitely a learning curve, so if it's your first time your best bet is to go on a weekend when other teams will be participating. Most people are more than willing to help others out with a nudge in the right direction. This is unlike any other experience that I've encountered. It can be difficult and there is no guarantee you'll complete it. If you get frustrated easily, this is not the game for you. See more..
