This year's melodrama production, "Tricked at the Trestle", is an original play penned by a Founding Sawduster. It is high camp, with audience participation (Booooo, hissss!), pretty good acting, and brief amazing solos in the olio (a hodgepodge of musical selections that have nothing whatsoever to do with the plot) by a very talented Joe Latimer. The entire cast was enjoying themselves immensely, as was the audience. Come a few minutes early for the audience sing-along of old favorites like "Ain't She Sweet?". See more..

Need a place to stay after a long drive that's cheap? You found it. Bathrooms and port a potties to serve your basic needs, with water spigot at the gazebo. No frills, just a wide spot on 42S to stay for $10 a night. Camp host on site for security, self pay station at the entrance. Nice views of the river, fire pits, bbq and picnic tables.
