- 5.0 Conneaut Township Park (111 reviews)
-Great Lake Erie Park - Beach, Fires, Boardwalk
Parks
This is a great Lake Erie park. There is a parking lot at a higher elevation that offers great views of the lake for watching from your car. There is a beach that has a boardwalk in the middle of it, so one can walk on the beach without stepping in the sand if desired. I have not seen another Lake Erie park that has a boardwalk like that, and I have been to most of them. This is also the only Lake Erie park I have seen that encouraged bonfires by having fire pits available for them. You can watch down to the beach and boardwalk from the higher parking lot, but you can also drive down to the level of the beach if you do not want to go up and down the hill. See more..

-Enjoyable visit
Speciality Museums
We were in town for a graduation open house and took our grandson here. Being a teenager, you never know how they might react but he enjoyed watching the train displays, seeing the memorabilia, and seeing an engine up close. We were sad that you couldn't see inside the caboose. While there, two trains went by on tracks behind the museum; we were outside so he had first hand experience how loud the trains can be. My wife and I visited eight covered bridges on Friday, 3 Jun 22. This was the first of the eight. Each have similarities, yet each also have unique design variations. - 4.0 Markko Vineyard (40 reviews)
-diamond in the rough - don't miss!
Wineries & Vineyards
I love this place and stop anytime I am in the area. This a working winery that produces some of the best wine anywhere. Arnie is a gracious host and a trove of wine knowledge. I've visited Sonoma, Napa, Rhine, Alsace, the winery does NOT resemble Domain Chandon. I've enjoyed reading the negative reviews; yes, there are dogs; loveable Briards and FYI all wineries have mice. If you live in the tri-state area here is a local business you can support AND enjoy terrific wine...or you can buy a bottle of Yellow Tail from the grocery store and save yourself the effort required. Much like visiting Epcot - it's so much better than actually going to Europe :) See more..

It’s over an hours drive for us but WOW so worth it. They have remodeled this little gem beautifully and the food was outstanding. Service was great. You order your meal ahead of time so they can smoke it to perfection. There were 5 of us and we tried all 4 specials. All were very delicious. The view out on the patio is spectacular. The wine was excellent. Can’t wait to go back! See more..
