   I’ve fly fished with guides for all kinds of fish all over North America, and was delighted with the friendly, high value service I received from Stillwater Anglers. Chris on the front end was responsive and professional, and Kirk S. was sage on the water, hard working and exceptional in mentoring two anglers of greatly different experience levels in difficult windy conditions on a newly “remodeled” Yellowstone. Whether you’ve got a callous on your stripping finger or think a double-haul means two bags of groceries I would highly recommend Stillwater for any river in the Billings/Livingston area.    We stopped here to learn about the history of this part of Montana, and also do a little research on ancestors that settled in the area. We found the museum to be very informative and worth the time for a visit. And, the genealogical research assistance was excellent! Penny was extremely helpful. See more..
