Picnic, exercise, then cool off in the falls! Beautiful park with trails to explore on foot. Gorge Trail is closed for construction, so trails leading down to the river are NOT clearly marked and are very steep. Not recommended for young children. Bug spray and drinking water required. Hiking shoes a must! Then take off your shoes and socks and cool off in the stream of the falls. Fun for children and adults of all ages. Fishing is relaxing, too. See more..

The Cazenovia Library is a wonderful place to visit. There is a cat who stays there. Very very cute. I want to camp out for the day in the magazine room and just read magazines all day. It's so comfortable, cozy and lovely. They have a nice display of artwork and artifacts in the museum portion. It's always changing so you never know what you might see. They have a great selection of books. The staff is very friendly and kind. It's worth a visit if you are in the area. If you live in Cazenovia, you sure are lucky to have such a great library in your midst. See more..

Lorenzo historic site was refreshing on a fall afternoon. Alison, our hostess, was extremely knowledgeable and delightful! The house is a historic gem that contains all original artifacts that date back to the early 1800s. The guided house tour was an hour and really showed us remarkable pieces! This .5 acre park can go almost unnoticed, tucked away on a little offshoot of Albany Street fronting 6 beautiful historic homes. Established in 1931, the center piece is a civil war cannon and the park was originally known as Cannon Park. There is a nice brick walkway and across the grass, plaques to honor Revolutionary War soldiers and a way to remember all Cazenovia residents that have served our country.
